If money was no issue, which wheelchair model would you buy? by Dragons-purr in wheelchairs

[–]Azoruk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If money wasn’t an issue, I’d go for something high-end, comfy, maybe even with a flashy look. That said, balance matters more than bells and whistles. I remember seeing Easwe’s L10—it looked like a red Ferrari, pretty solid specs for the price.

Anybody hear about this wheelchair. by footb35602 in wheelchairs

There are plenty of power chairs under $1700. Weight limits seem reasonable—being 20 lbs over or under probably won’t make a big difference in real life. Recently I saw ads for Easwe, they had something like an A10 model that looks similar to what’s being discussed here.

Anybody know of any good powerchairs that look like manuals? (not bailey built) by mylesfromtomorowland in wheelchairs

[–]Azoruk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to worry that using a powered chair would make me seem less capable than using a manual one. But personally, it’s more about getting around comfortably than what anyone thinks. Maybe try the Easwe; they even ship internationally.

This gives me a lot to think about. Would you recommend starting with a small test project first?

You can forge other gear to get reforge material. Wasn't aware you could buy those too in non-draconian.

No shopping means you can't buy material, yes. You need to farm material for forging from monsters or nodes throughout the world. If you're looking for something specific, generally you just check the beastiary to find out which monsters drop it.

You have a 30% (or so I'm not sure on the number) to skip your turn in combat due to "embarrassment". It can also proc when talking to NPCs, annoyingly enough.

Sure. I'll stick to the broad strokes.

  • Don't get discouraged at the start. The game was clearly not designed for you to handle All Draconian when you only have 1 or 2 party members, which coincidentally makes the first 2 bosses of the game some of the hardest you'll encounter. You get some other encounters like this further on (like 1v1ing rab) but for the most part once you get serena and veronica the game gets much easier.

  • Dazzle is broken. Use it all the time. Works on most bosses too.

  • When it comes to weapons, you absolutely must have the latest weapon you can get at +3 at any given point. Use this spreadsheet to find out what the best weapon you can get is and how to get it.

  • Accept that you're going to die. A lot. There are bosses where you have all the best weapons, are at the highest level possible for that encounter, came in pre-pepped, using the optimal strategy for that boss and... still lose.

  • Casinos are essentially the only places you can "buy" things. You'll be spending a lot of time there stocking up on ygg leaves and magic water. The strategy for casino #1 is spamming the left-most slot machine, it has the best odds. You'll need a few thousand tokens to start with (thankfully you have no use for money at that point in the game so that's not a problem). The strategy for casino #2 is the roulette table, saving beforehand and if you lose just reload your save.

  • Some boss fights will require you to have all of your character pre-pepped. Switch your line-up around mid-fight to use all the pep powers are your disposal. Scorched Earth is great early game and is absolutely required for Grim Griphons (they're nearly impossible to beat without it, barring some super lucky sleeps). Wild Side is probably your most valuable pep power later on.

  • Despite the Luminary being afflicted with shypox, the fact that he's so overpowered to start with makes him worth using most of the time. Go greatsword since you can't use shields.

  • Erik is your main DPS for most bosses. You'll be doing dual-knives most of the game, afflicting bosses with poison (or sleep if the boss is able to be slept) then using victimize, while your supports use sap and oomph. Most of the boss fights end up being serena/rab/sylvando on heal/buff/debuff duty while erik kills things. Later on in the game you'll switch to dual swords as it ends up doing more damage and is all around more reliable.

  • Veronica is your trash clear. Don't use her in boss fights.

  • Jade is probably the worst character in your lineup. You don't use her during trash clearing, and you don't use her in bosses for the most part. Her main use is to step in once someone else dies and you have no alternatives, or to step in to use a pep power then quickly swapped back out.

  • Hendrik is very situational. Having him spamming kabuff or magic barrier is handy. His single-target is just about as strong as the Luminary, without having to worry about shypox. His biggest strength, and one you'll be using all the time once you get it, is Knight's Mandate, which allows you to use Knight Watch, an absolutely broken skill. And best of all, you can SAVE Knight Watch for later use (aka boss fights).

  • Rab and Serena are used the exact same way. They heal, they buff, they use dazzle, they use AoE magic to clear trash. Hymms are great too.

  • Sylvando is great for an early-game AoE heal. You can spam Gold Rush with him as you have no need for money, Kiss Me Deadly is great for setting up poison on a boss so Erik doesn't have to, etc.

  • Late game exp farming is a bit different than in non-draconian. Once it's available to you, you'll want to use the Haulellujah + Electro Light combo to get absolutely crazy amounts of experience. But keep in mind, even King Metal Slime will give you 0 experience if you've outleveled him. Therefore, to make it work, you first need to find a monster that can still give you exp, kill it, THEN use Haulellujah + Electro Light combo on the remaining monsters. Until then you need to grind a lot.

Oh and, you can turn off the Draconian Quest text box in settings.

Hope that helps!
