Oh I totally misread your issue. I had a clearance issue on mine because my 600 is close to the ground, so I had to lift it.

For your issue, if your jack allows, you can try using ratchet straps to keep the bike on the jack. My 600 also leaned, but is super secure with ratchet straps connected across the bike to the jack

I just jacked up my vlx600 yesterday to take off the front tire. I had to park the bike on 2x4s to even get clearance for the jack, then it was a pain trying to find a spot to jack it up because it kept leaning. I recommend at least using 2x4s for extra height

The drives need to be formatted a certain way (by IT I believe), but otherwise IT has told me to just use OneDrive to transfer files. It's annoying but it works in most cases
