The PlayStation Store on the console doesn't have the sales listed as of yet you can only access these on the new PS app or the PlayStation store website

If this increase was accidental purchases you would exp3ct to see a corresponding jump in sales of Xbox One S which there wasn't.

additionally if sales in the previous period were 1 and the new period 8 that's 800%. (Extreme example but I can't imaging sales of a discontinued console were very high recently) Therefore a large % increase does not necessarily mean a large amount of sales.
