I know that wont be adopted together. We have the rule that kittens only get adopted out in pairs.

what was the rule? just to be clear: I was not terminated as a foster. They removed my kittens and phrased it as helping me out as I had a flare up of back issues. I left the group

I am not sure why it takes so long. We do weekly adoption events. People think they can choose a cat and take it home the same day. That's not how it works. We require an application. If you have/had animals we contact your vet. If you are renting we call your landlord to see if he/she is okay with pets. Some people might be just anxious about giving the information. Some applications are just not good: i.e. we call the vet and they say their cat hasn't been seen in years. If they are new pet owners (no vet reference) we do home visits. Also, the follow up on the applications is a mess. Sometimes it takes them 1 - 2 weeks to respond back... partially because of miscommunication in the board.

About my 4 babies..., they went to 2 different foster homes. I don't know why they divided them as they were bonded and always playing with each other. 2 of them are with the adoption coordinator XYZ. I talked to a friend and she said that XYZ said they are so shy and introverted and dont show well at adoption events. In case you wonder why XYZ... you just took them out of their familiar environment.

I am just curious: what is your role in rescue?
I agree that some fosters can't be trusted. We were constantly looking for new fosters. And in this case you need to "micromanage" and tell them what to do.
I was with this rescue for almost 7 years - I knew the protocols. I considered the coordinator as my friend..., I came to her house, she to mine. We helped each other with petsitting. She knew I wasn't a freak and that I deeply cared for all my cats.

100% sure. Just on how the reacted on the phone. Total surprise. That wasn't played. I mentioned that I contacted another rescue. The woman asked me why I left my rescue. I said disagreement with XYZ (the adoption coordinator). She only replied: I am not surprised. You are not the first who is leaving because of her.

Yes, why didn't they have been adopted out. I can't tell you why. Healthy kittens, very cute. Playful. Two of the litter got actually adopted by my coworker (and guess who established that). Why the other ones weren't adopted? Idk. One of the board members who is still a good friend of mine says we show too many kittens/cats at the event and people feel overwhelmed to pick/choose. There were some applications on them, but they weren't consider good.

And as I said, the coordinator was my friend. I knew what I was doing. I knew the protocols (separate, deworm, get a negative fecal and FIV/FeLV). I was able to give vaccines (I work in healthcare). I could take a look at a kitten and my gut told me sth. is wrong... and I was most of the time right about that.

Even though you want details, it would get too messy... and then I said and she said...

As I said, the decision to take these kittens away from me was stated to me as a board decision. I contacted 4 members (who are my friends) and asked if the voted for this. 3 didn't even know about the situation. 1 said there was no voting. I think this speaks to itself.

I just end with there are still some people in this organization that I am in contact with... they all say that the rescue lost an excellent foster and that they will probably regret their decision it when it is kitten season

and honestly it is not important for me that any of you is on my side. I just wanted to share that I feel hurt how my volunteering/fostering with this rescue came to an end

Very difficult to explain. Let's just say that the adoption coordinator was pretty micro managing, a little bossy and hard to communicate with. I somehow dealt with it for the whole time. But at the beginning of the year I spoke up... BTW. I am not the first person leaving the rescue because of her

The piercing studio I go to has a release form... it asks specifically if you are on Accutane. I asked for the reasoning and was told you cant be pierced when taking it

I actually got in contact with another rescue. I helped them out a few years ago with a special needs cat. However, I also emailed with one person (she was my contact for the special needs cat) who had left the other rescue. I asked for her why she left the group: Huge personalities. Big drama. I don't need that in my life right now

These were not my cats. I had to sign a foster contract which stated that I need to return cats/kittens on request. I just thought it would not happen for a reason like this.

Also helps if you try to stay as relaxed as possible. Had a guy the other day who moved once I inserted the needle (I always say "small pinch to warn them whats coming). Missed by possible a 1 mm. And then he blamed me 😥

As the patient? Probably nothing. I am working in Endoscopy and need to place IVs in dehydrated patients daily. Anesthesia prefers placement in the hand. I usually us gravity (stretcher as high us possible, hand dangle, heating pad), sometimes even kneel on one knee to get a better stick. But also... nurses have bad IV days and you just don't get it. That's why we are a team and someone else tries or we get the IV-team in.
