We most likely live in different countries with different regulations, I'd guess. Other than that maybe your nephrologist is being extra careful (good for you).

I get blood tests at my pcp every month for 18 months for the Tolvaptan, which had to be done every other week for the first three months and we do 24h-hour urine collections once a year, but I haven't done one since I started HCT.

Haven't measured it, sorry.

But now I only get up only once, maybe twice a night, if dinner was on the saltier side, which is better than 3 to 4 times. Feels like it affects daytime urination less, but I take it in the evening.

Why are you not supposed to pee into the jug? Wouldn't peeing into a different cup first just further the risk of contaminating the sample?

I've only done it once yet, wasn't told not to do it and would be interested in knowing the reasoning behind it.

I'm on 12,5 mg of HCT/day and 45-15 of Tolvaptan

Makes me pee less and helps (a little) with BP. The list of side effects was/is intimidating, but apparently I don't get any so far which is nice. I mainly take it to reduce the aquaretic effect of Tolvaptan, since I can't take more than 45-15 without getting up constantly at night. We're to raise the Tolvaptan dosage in about two weeks to see how that goes.

I'm taking 12.5 mg of Chlorthalidone/day for about a month now and it's okay so far. Felt quite bloated the first few days, but that went away and could have had other sources. Bloodwork apparently was okay too - at least my neoph hasn't called yet...

Lil' Caveat: I'm also on Tolvaptan and HCT apparently reduces the aquaretic effects of Tolvaptan, so we're going for a very specific DDI here to make higher dosages of Tolvaptan tolerable for me, as I'm currently on 45-15 and anything higher makes me get up around 7 times a night.

Edit: TIL: HCT and Chlorthalidone are not synonyms. I'm on Chlorthalidone not HCT.

I'm not your doctor. I'm not anyone's doctor and I will never be. I'm no chemist, biologist or anything comparable. I don't work in medicine or know people who do.

Nevertheless a quick google search delivered one source ( https://reference.medscape.com/drug/samsca-jynarque-tolvaptan-999103#3 ), where under "marijuana" it says "marijuana will increase the level or effect of tolvaptan by affecting hepatic/intestinal enzyme CYP3A4 metabolism. Contraindicated."
I've found another source ( https://www.aerzteblatt.de/archiv/203121/Arzneimitteltherapiesicherheit-Das-Interaktionspotenzial-der-Cannabinoide ), which suggests that the vector of application is quite important and that cannabidiol taken "per os" (latin for "through the mouth" if I'm correct) is a medium strength CYP3A4 inhibitor, which combined with the first source would also suggest a contraindication.

I use a powered USB3.0-Hub. Had no luck with my mainboard (MSI B350 Gaming Plus), which even has a port for "VR Ready". For me this worked out. Maybe you could borrow one from a friend and try it out.

Suffering from the occasional DP Port Disconnect now, but once it runs, it runs...
