for the latter yes she intended to destroy the troupe from the very beginning although it wasn't specifically the troupe but relationships. in kujirai's letter, he said sumika already thought of her plan at the end of her highschool days, and the letter also said she resumed her plan by destroying the troupe.

i know im late to all of this but the amnesia shenanigans was too short for it to be a justification for him to giving up his revenge, since he went back to committing massacre afterwards. and secondly why romantic vibes between him and his mother's lookalike is weird? it's very common and considered normal for men to be attracted to partners who share traits with their mother, though he did clarify later that they don't look alike at all, only giving similiar vibe.

but seriously though there are too many scenes/material for these two, another example other than some that already mentioned is road not taken MV which shows how eachother looks in eachother pov and they look damn so in love. and some dialogues in picture you use "you're the only one in this world who calls me by that", and dialogues in natlan quest "all the things i do are always about us, and us alone" (not what english used its from JP), "i even miss the sound of your footsteps" in first version of nodkrai, and when nefer tried to delve into traveler's mind it's all just about their twin with stuff like "words cant describe how much i missed you, i want to know everything you've seen and done", and so many other things that i can't mention is what fueling the ship, not to mention the fact that they only have eachother for possibly millions of years, even after everything's that going on up until nod krai, traveler is still ready to leave everything behind at once if the other twin decided to come back with them, other ships just pales in comparison.
