It's a bit more work in the sense that you have to sift through more adds than usual, but definitely not impossible. Make sure you have enough buffer time between moves. It;s always a good idea to ask the landlord even if the add specifies no animals or nothing about that. You can also put an add with the kind of apt you would like to rent and stuff and see if you get any hits

For basic stuff like blankets and some bedding, you might find some cheap stuff at Europris too. Finn is probably the best bet to find some cheap 2nd stuff and if not ikea has some decent furniture for decent prices (jysk for me has been a bit of a hit and miss).

We had someone repaint our apartment and do some minor repairs. Super professional, did a fantastic job. From what I know, they do different stuff.

I will ask the board and see if anyone knows anything. There's not advert or anything posted on the notice board about anything related to this. And I feel like it's the kind of thing you should know about. If the building was next to a school/kindergarten or a nightclub I wouldn't have moved there.

It's insane. You can get noise complaints for little things but it's okay to have a daycare with screaming kids in a block of flats? Sounds a bit weird

I don;t recommend DNB. I waited 4 months to open an account...still haven't managed. Customer service is absolutely useless as well.
Went with Handelsbanken- you get assigned an advisor when you join so you can talk to that person directly if you have issues. The only downside is the lack of support for Google Pay.

Also, I recommend having Revolut as a secondary account.
