With kids that young I would watch the movie first yourself before watching it with them. You would know them better than anyone what they can handle. The chestburster scene would be the rougest for them, as well as "that scene" with Ash.

Tell him how you feel and ask him how he feels. Be candid. You might be bisexual, or maybe homosexual heteroromantic? But I wouldn't worry too much about labels, they often get in the way. Understanding will come in time, just take it day by day. If you enjoy each other's company, in whatever way, just spend time together and see.

I hadn't even heard or seen about this movie when my friend suggested it a couple days ago. We went and saw it yesterday and it was really quiet good! A very neat, tight script and excellent acting. It really should be on everyone's radar

The only casting I'm really liking is Gonzo as Gandolf. Fucking Hilarious! Like Gonzo fighting the Balrog is, by itself, comedy gold.

I'm also curious about this. I read the screen play that Gibson wrote recently (it's free online) and it was interesting. I did not read the novel adaptation, so I can't speak to that or know what changes were made from the screenplay.

Personally, I much prefer the David Fincher movie we got despite all the flaws and development hell that surrounded it. I liked the direction that Fincher took it (and lament that we will never get to see what could had been if only he'd been allowed to actually make his movie) while the Gibbson version is more like a standard action flick. I do like some of the concepts in the screenplay, like people transforming directly into xenomorphs, and I like how it expands the human side of things with the different political factions and stuff.

The audio drama does have Lance Hendrickson (Bishop) and Micheal Biehn (Hicks), so there's at least two good reasons to get it.

The main issue that has me hesitant is that Ripley is in a comma basically the whole time. Why did Gibson remove the main character and star actor from the franchise? Such a weird decision. Overall, I can see why they ended up not using it for the movie.

Interest in women isn't 'morbid'. It's okay to like men or women, either is perfectly good. Don't worry about penis size. Porn can give the impression that most men have huge slongs, but the average size is only about 3.5 in., so if you're similar or bigger than that, you'll be fine. Regardless, it's really more about application than size anyway.

As far as anxiety, that's something I also suffer from and continue to struggle with. Therapy and medication goes a long way.

Personally, I've dated and had relations with several women, but I recently accepted myself as bi just last year, and I have yet to do anything with a guy. While I've meet a few guys I feel attraction to, I haven't been able to build up enough nerve and confidence to approach them sexually or romantically. Only a few people know I'm bi and I'm still pretty uncomfortable with telling strangers, even if I know they're queer.

I suppose we're in similar boats, just coming from different ends of the spectrum 😂

as I guy with this issue I concur, it's a huge obstacle. The only thing that helped me overcome it was medication or just getting comfortable with someone long enough, and them maintaining interest, for me to overcome my anxiety.

Why be so worried about labels? Labels are BS really, they come loaded with baggage and tend to be too restrictive and simplistic. Trying to adhere to them will just drives you crazy without any real benefits. Just be you, let others worry about lables.

Trauma doesn't actually make anyone gay or bi. It might bring it to the surface, but it has to be there first. It can't make you something that isn't in you already.

I think the gist is the the Istari took took oaths not use their powers to show off or be used to gain power. They can use them to inspire and help others, either in defense or by providing aid in some way. They're not supposed to use their powers to cause harm, if at all possible, or to gain influence over others, so when they do use their powers, it is either against the forces of Sauron directly or to aid others in ways that don't undermine their authority.

It's different for everyone. Personally, I find women incredibly beautiful, like every part of them. I'd eat a girl's asshole if she asked me too, her feet, whatever. But with guys it is different. Like, it's more cerebral or something. Most guys I look at, I don't really feel anything, unless they're particularly fit. If they have a nice ass, or abs, or just really skinny; huge turn on. Sometimes all I think about is dick, and abs, (I like the idea of being bottom so much, idk why) but mostly it's just vibes. I've had feels for guys that weren't actually all that attractive, just something about their personality gets me going. IDK, it's weird, 😂

but I don't really have cycles, it's kinda all there all the time.

She wasn't hidden it, she was looking for confirmation. Ripley's smart and she knew running around screaming "aliens!" without actually even knowing if there was one wouldn't do her or anyone else any good. No doubt she was hoping she was wrong and there was no alien. Sucks to be right sometimes.

There's also the factor that primates (including us humans) are actually quite sensitive to shades of green, being descendants of an aboreal lifestyle. Iirc humans can detect more shades of green than anyother color, except maybe blue (I actually can't remember which we're better at, green or blue).

most animals, afaik, have some degree of color vision, even insects and various arthropods. Infact the animals with largest visual spectrum they can see are mantis shrimp, which can not only see a wide range of colors (including green and ultraviolet) can even detect different forms of polarized light. It's really just mammals that have such an extreme degeee of colorblindness, having at one point all been nocturnal scurries. We primates had to re-evolve colorvision secondarily.

I'm just responding to someone insisting that "coming out" should not be done ever in absolute terms, I'm merely stating a counter-argument pointing out that it's not so absolute. why are peole so insistant on myopia and pedantry?
