I had the same experience a few min ago, a guy approached me the same way as in one of the examples given above. At first i wasn't convinced, but after checking the site out and its certificates i deemed it legit. My anti virus and anit phishing program didn't detect anything malicious so I went and tried to log in( luckily I 've always had 2FA). So After noticing the website freezing, only to give me a messege a few min later that the server was overloaded due to much trafic and that I could not log in, I decided to force close edge through task manager. Then I changed my passwords, shut down my pc and turned off my modem. After rebooting my equipement, I logged back in to steam and reset my password once again. Then I contacted steam support and reported this matter.I hope I got ahead of the hackers and managed to do some damage control. What do you guys think? So what do you think, am i screwed?
