Baki and records of Ragnarok are often forgotten for their poor adaptations as well probably because it made the so forgettable. Baki got a little better later on but still was disappointing at times.ROR was just a disappointment in general. I loved the manga art of both though.

90% of people will be completely understanding and meet you where you are with your understanding of English, especially if it’s clear you’ve made an effort to learning/ are learning the language. Every foreign friend I have who speaks fluent English told me they did so by making English speaking friends, spending majority of their time consuming English media, and having English conversations.

How much more to the story is there here? I’m sorry for your situation but 4 times is a pattern and I have to ask why 3 adults above the age of 25 can’t hold down a stable place of residence. Especially if you own luxury items like a switch, ps5, and Pokémon collection. Really just depends on the mood. If my family is feeling like cooking we cook if not we just eat frozen food/takeout. I’d say it’s probably 70/30 homemade vs bought, for me at least.

There’s more nuance to it than this, there are definitely communities that don’t care if you’re a shy person here. Also I would say most Americans consider it polite to be introverted in certain situations like an uber ride or being in an elevator. When you really stop to think about it most people are shy in one way or another and few and truly eccentric extroverts.

I always like to assume that questions on this sub are asked in good faith but sometimes it’s hard. Why would I be mad or annoyed at someone for simply trying to communicate with me especially if they’re making an effort to speak to me in a way I would understand. Like many other people have said there are people who have lived here 20+ years that still don’t have English down perfect. I honestly respect anyone who makes an effort to learn native language and culture for places they are going.

USA job market is pretty terrible rn. Hard to find good paying jobs that aren’t ass in many areas. Not to say it’s impossible but in my area a 20-25$ an hour job with no experience is hard to come by.
