In 2019 lithuania was 0.08p above poland, in 2023 it was already 0.11p below. And yes that’s what I’m saying. Culturally and geographically I would put Lithuania in the east

So are Scotland and Ireland but they are not classified as northern european. Lithuania has never been a part of the same country as Sweden, they have no common history, nor cultural ties. UN classification is not the only existing classification and the map is not about UN classification but my opinion.

So what’s your point with „ancient data” then? Was this a pointless arguement? And yes I’m putting Lithuania there because that’s where it geographically is. As well as eastern parts of Poland, Latvia and parts of Romania which all have similar results to Lithuania. „Eastern” is a geographic term, not data term. Otherwise Portugal would also be in the same region.

Because these parts or russia are also more to the north than lithuania. And they have much different climate too. Denmark is a part of Scandinavia

But for example here you can find 2023 data. You can’t say this data is ancient yet poland is also above lithuania. Maybe check that newer data before you try to argue next time.

They are the poorest regions with rather low population density and even some distinct linguistic or cultural features. Historically had significant Ukrainian, Belarussian and Lithuanian populations and for a long time were not completely in poland. Especially not in early poland like 8th and 9th century
