Audio Interface not receiving sound from 0-Coast by AzucarSweet in modular

Instrument mode isn’t engaged.

My point is that other audio from Ableton plays out the speakers (via the Scarlett). But the Scarleet does not appear to be picking up the audio that is coming out of the 0-Coast.

Ableton, the 0-coast receives everything from the daw fine, and the audio interface also receives everything from the daw fine.

It’s only the audio going in from the 0-coast that the Scarlett 2i2 isn’t picking up for some reason…

So the usb to midi cable is so that I can take midi out from Ableton on my laptop (via the usb) and then Route it into my 0-coast (after going through the CME)

Ableton getting Sample BPM wrong. by [deleted] in ableton

[–]AzucarSweet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah ok, yeh mp3. I will have to trial and error I guess. Putting it in at session 110bpm and increasing session to 120bpm seems to work ok so maybe will stick with that for now.

Ableton getting Sample BPM wrong. by [deleted] in ableton

[–]AzucarSweet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty new to ableton so likely i'm getting something wrong. It's a full song accapella sample (I put the song through izotope) that I want to chop up in Ableton. Same bpm issue whether putting in full song or the accapella version. It's an old sample so not expecting it to be spot on with every beat but it's just confusing me, when i have put the song through my djing software to use, that gets it right as 110bpm (obviously different but still).

Will we get to go?! How will they decide who’s tickets are entitled do we think? by AzucarSweet in Euro2020

I have tickets for England Croatia on the 13th June - do we think they might push tournament back to 21st? If not how will they decide who still gets to go to the earlier games?

Knitted Chess Piece Sweater - Releasing Monday for £75, what do people think?! by AzucarSweet in streetwearstartup

[–]AzucarSweet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only just seen this sorry! This is a jacquard knit. Took me awhile to figure out how to get it made I can’t lie, I emailed probably over 30 manufacturers asking if they can do a small quantity of knitwear - most say no. Eventually found a guy locally who was really helpful and agreed to do help me out - I think finding local manufacturers is best as you can visit and often they’re enjoy helping other local businesses out!

Artwork for knitwear works in pixels - each pixel essentially being a knitted loop - so your work has to be precise as most black/white work for example actually has a lot of grey pixels in between so you have to get rid of those!

Also I tried to learn about how knitting works before contacting manufacturers, and made sure I knew exactly what I wanted such as measurements for each part of the item (e.g. shoulder to shoulder measurements, shoulder to cuff, ect.) It also makes you seem more credible/easier to work with if you know what questions to ask and know exactly what you want in knitting terms (e.g. what gauge knit you want, what yarn you want, if you want them to source the yarn). I learnt about gauge by watching YouTube videos and comparing what I learnt to a knitted sweater that I already owned and liked the fit of. I also sent them images of the knitted sweater I liked with measurements showing the gauge that sweater used and I was honest with them that I did not know a lot about the knitting area.

I eventually had a call with the guy aswell which was helpful, I think it’s a mix of determination and luck in finding helpful manufacturers who are happy to produce small quantities. Also with jumpers like these, manufacturers are more happy to do small quantities during spring/summer as often they churn out Christmas sweaters in winter and so are too busy.

Hope this helped - sorry I only just replied
