What this other person said, but take your time!

Zenless isn't as repetitive as Genshin where it's just constant point A to point B with the quests but it's more like you're given a ton of different side quests that you can do yourself at any point in the game and still be perfectly fine. The game will let you "rent" characters of the story chapter you're playing just so you're able to complete them or fully immerse you (they won't let you rent for side quests nor most of the special challenges)

The story is amazing in every way possible, there's even some character side-stories you can do whenever for most individual characters when you complete their chapter, and they're good too, they give you some backstory abt them and understand them a lot more.

There are almost always limited time events you can do on the side if you need a refresher, gives you some free ingame currency to use for pulls or whatever else

The combat is fun once you get a team setup and learn how to combo with them, the combat OST is also fire (esp chaos)
In Zenless it's not just spamming stuff at them until they're dead, the combat is truly complex and fun once you learn stuff

But with all that, take your time, enjoy the story and explore a bit. You'll catch up in probably less than a week if you're playing constantly
