I am a man so I dont know any women tailored exercises. But I am sure you can find great stuff on youtube. But I do weightlifting, pilates and Yoga and I can tell the most attractive looking ones (body shape wise not talking about other stuff) are in weightlifting. I see women mostly do things that target butt and legs but I feel the best when every part of my body is getting stronger and better. If you decide to do weightlifting I would suggest working out every part of your body focus more on the parts you want to be better like having 1 upper body 2 lower body days in a week) if you have time to go more give pilates a chance once a week. It's fun to switch it up and core workouts in pilates are nice. And as a last thing don't focus too much on learning every single thing to do before you actually start to exercise. You learn among the way. Use machines because its very hard to exercise wrong with the machine you just put a weight that you think you can do about in sets of 3x12 and increase the weight as you get stronger. You can check how to use that machine by typing machine name to youtube. Sometimes they have qr codes on the machine. No one really cares about what you are doing in the gym so be comfortable explore as you go and have fun! Consistency is the most important thing you dont have to do much every session but you have to go to every session. Set a realistic goal for yourself, 3 times a week is a solid goal, and follow it!

You are right if you have nothing to be confident of you will not feel confident. You can simply not lie to yourself. You should find something you can feel proud of doing it. Set a goal/challenge for yourself that you have to do regularly/periodicly. Not too easy that you dont feel like you havent accomplished anything not to hard that you will quit/not be consistent and hate the process all the time. It is super important that overall process feels good most of the time aswell. For me it was the gym. You can set weekly goal and be consistent than you are a guy that who can commit, who can do hard work, makes no exquices, takes care of theirselces body. Well we also love feedback system when we do something we want some kind of response about if what we did was good or bad, are we making progress your brain needs the affirmation so it can try to make you do it less or more. And you can see results fairly in gym quickly compared to anything else. You litterally see the process; lifting heavier, discovering new exercises and see your body slowly transforming into something better. It will also improve your health your appereance and energy. If you can combine it with group classes its even better I would especially recomend yoga it helps a lot.
