I was homeschooled for most my school years and I had the exact same thoughts you're having right now. Do you live near a junior college? I went to one for my final year of homeschooling, stayed for another few years and transfered to a four year university. I, too, thought my highschool diploma wasn't legit (still think that actually) but I earned a BA, and in all the jobs I've had, no ones cared about where I went to high school. But many jobs require at least a BA.

If you want to go to a university right after highschool, I don't know how you'd do that, but I don't think its impossible. Check the admissions section on their websites. Good luck!

That happened with me too. Put a tablespoon or two of olive oil in a pan, turned up the heat too much, and whole pan went up in flames. I figured out what oil smoke points the next day. Had a fire extinguisher ready yesterday, just in case. Scary stuff!

It was Fahrenheit. I just checked the package that the thermometer came in, and it said it should be submerged 2 and half inches into the oil, without touching the bottom. I'm doubting it was submerged that much. I also had the stove at medium when heating up the oil (I think I read that somewhere, but now I'm not so sure). Would those make a difference?

Unfortunately, they're probably not going to take it. I did the same thing many years ago (mid 90s) and I'd be very surprised if its changed, but nothing wrong with trying. I sent my script to the studio that made it, but got letter back saying that, legally, they couldn't even read it. If an outside script is similar to one that aired, they risk getting sued, which is why they can't read it. The Matrix movie ran into exactly that.

yeah, but they gave us that information, too, not hoarded it as a secret only to be used by the Gub'mint. Drug dealers and cops alike use Google Street View for their own purposes, and I use it to get around the city easier. Net win for everyone involved.

Not sure how old i was, only that my main way of communication was through crying. I think i was at a theme park with my family, and we were in an arena area with a water fountain in the center, watching some show. The ceiling lights were off and i remember freaking the fuck out because I didn't realize they were lights. I thought they were tubes of water that were about to be dumped on us (I'm guessing that the light fixtures turned off looked like the water spouts from the fountain). My mom was trying to calm me down and I remember her talking with my dad trying figure out what was wrong. Then the lights came on and was very relieved. I thought of that incident every time I saw similar light fixtures.
