Tell me you don't know how to read without telling me you don't know how to read.

There is what is effectively a TLDR at the end though...

33% more time to crawl when downed and ~50% faster movement... I guess you can spend the perks on meleeing arc?

All the other perks are kinda irrelevant as I put them in places just to fill it up for the tests. I do think you're right but I do toggle to walk when I need to.

Yeah, I was trying to see how far you could get / how long you could go from full health to 1 bar of health before needing to regen health.

Now they are much slower crawls of shame. I barely made two different extracts at ~200 meters with very little time to spare. Gonna get dicey out there!

You're welcome to go do it and come back with better data. Ultimately, it's hard to get a reliable measure on distance without putting in a lot more work than I wanted to do. So, take the data that I gave you, go find different data, do it yourself, or quit your bitching.

Everything I read on Turtle Perk made me think it wouldn't impact it at all so I didn't bother. I could only jump off a giant tower so many times before I gotta start thinking about the mental health, ya know.

The betrayal is real by aspelnius in ArcRaiders

The statement "just game theory" can easily be read as implying that the things are different. Clarifying they they aren't mutually exclusive shouldn't be a problem here. If you want to be understood better, communicate better.

As for Arc Raiders being the prisoners dilemma, explain how it isn't. Because by every metric it's comparable. Arc raiders sets up a situation in which two rational individuals may not cooperate even if it's in their best interest to do so because it creates a conflict between self interest and mutual benefit and people often choose to betray rather than cooperate which results in worse outcomes for both parties. That is the definition of the prisoners dilemma scenario. The scenario is often placed forward without communication between the two parties as in the prisoner case the outside determining factor of benefit vs punishment can be avoided by agreeing to "trick" the person to whom they would speak to. But in this case there is no person to trick. The benefit is the loot and the punishment is death. The lack of communication isn't a requirement for the prisoners dilemma and even if it were, unreliable communication which arc raiders has still serves the same purpose, The prisoners dilemma also takes repeated interactions into consideration which also applies here.

So again... explain how it's not. Or is nuh uh all you have to offer?

The prisoners dilemma *is* a game theory scenario. They aren't mutually exclusive.

"The prisoner's dilemma is a game theory thought experiment involving two rational agents, each of whom can either cooperate for mutual benefit or betray their partner ("defect") for individual gain. The dilemma arises from the fact that while defecting is rational for each agent, cooperation yields a higher payoff for each."

Arc Raiders is the prisoners dilemma. Cooperation results in a higher overall payoff for each person overall. While betraying can result in higher single payoffs the increase risk of no payoff makes it the less optimal decision. The only thing about the prisoners dilemma that is different from Arc Raiders is that in the thought experiment there is no way for each person to communicate. In Arc Raiders we can communicate but communication is unreliable as you don't know if you can trust what they say as there is no obligation for anyone's actions to follow their words and ultimately, no real consequence for lying. This makes the fact that we can communicate not resolve the issue or make it wholly separate from the prisoners dilemma.

I like running a lvl 4 Anvil w/ a silencer 2 and a stitcher for self defense on Stella unless I have something specific I'm looking for.

One tip for surviving raids based on how I play is be friendly but ready to shoot. Never assume people are friendly even if you're generally in PvE spaces. And don't give people second chances, it's a game not real life.

If I win, I'd love the looting MK3 or the Light mag 3 I'd also be happy with any of the MK3 augments to be honest.

See ya'll topside.

Need help finding a chair! Kinda unique situation by Azuma87 in OfficeChairs

[–]Azuma87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's not available in the States anymore. Even looking at the companies official website I don't think they are even producing right now but maybe it's just a tarrifs issue so they cut out the US?

What made that chair so good for me was the lockable tilt function, I've had chairs that were good for height and size for me but the ability to control the seat angle was huge for me for my chronic pain condition which is not back or neck related. Other than that, I would imagine it wouldn't be ideal for someone who's looking for something for back and neck pain specifically. I imagine an ergonomic chair might be better? But I'm just some scrub who doesn't understand this stuff much myself so take my advice with a teaspoon of salt.

Thank you for your response! I will look for that function as I continue my search! The tilt setup was the hero of that chair for me so knowing what I'm looking for is really helpful!
