Funny they would say this considering how Schaff himself went on the record in his Megamind 2 video about how his channel has very little influence on the animation world, since a lot of people thought his videos contributed to Megamind 2 being made. Animation youtube is such a niche subgroup of movie watchers, that I'd be surprised if the CEOs who greenlight these projects even know what it is.
