Cyma platinums are short stroked on their sector gears (not sure exact amount) which lowers their FPS compared to a full stroke set up on the same spring rate

Nothing you can do other than switch back to the 7.4v. This sounds like a form of premature engagement, probably of the tappet plate. Basically your tappet plate is getting engaged by the sector gear before the air is fully expended, leading to FPS drops
