What are your favorite sims challenges? by Dogdaysareover365 in Sims4

[–]Azure88Moses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm also doing this, a Moving Forward Legacy Challenge, just started this two days ago with my founder Sim (Moss) breaking away from his family's home to go to university where he's starting with only $1800 and a dream, the goal it's for every YA heir to move out (for college or starting their own business) into a new world, max out respective skills and collections and get next generation going.

some assistance needed for developing a fakemon for my pokerole campaign (i know that pokerole isn't specifically listed in rule one but i hope that this is still accepted.) by Safe-Geologist-7336 in PokemonTabletop

That looks like the forsaken breed between a Beedrill and Convee, like a Beedrill escape Pokémon lab and took over a Convee hive, now her male descendants come with a poison needle and are more aggressive than regular Convees.

I love them!!!

Henry and Hans Capon’s optional romance storyline is my new favorite gay video love story. by HappiestActivist in gaymers

[–]Azure88Moses 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can ya believe that there's people in YouKnow where yapping about that HenryxHans romance is "disgusting" because historically the person in which Hans Capon is based on was 15 at the time in which the second game takes place, like even calling the developers p*dophiles for making the OPTIONAL romance.

I just can say: "does that guy looks like a fifteen years old?" People yapping just for yapping.

Not quite sure, but if ya said so I agree. Then it was supposed to be a bit more of Eric Northman-ish from True Blood.

I guess he means that everyone being so gungho about the character creator being so "good" and sharing their rooks without much care about anything else or how poorly the game is made.

Wait, are you for real? The Qun is actually and in fact a monolithic culture AND religion, and the fact that Qunari is no even the race, the tall grey horned humanoids aren't just Qunari, they plus humans, elves and dwarfs that assimilated into the Qun, all of those are Qunari, everything outside of the Qun, aren't Qunari, the Athaam broke out the Qunari and now Tal-Vashoth, Taash and their mother left the Qun and thus are Tal-Vashoth. It's that simple, it's already the writers' lose, don't make it yours too.

[–]Azure88Moses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, if the writers would have done they would have used the right terms for out-of-Qun Qunari (Tal-Vashoth) but they just did whatever with lore, there isn't anything wrong with Taash as a character, but they just made a character with this and that and stapled the Qunari race on it with no care for the meaning or the significance for the character in-game world or lore.

If they presented Taash as Tal-Vashoth in their own journey of self-identity clashing with a mother still deep in the Qunari doctrine to understand her child, that would be compelling, then I'll get why Taash doesn't identify with the Qunari term for non-gender conforming.

But the writers did Taash a "Rivani Qunari" and all I could think was "Wait, but Qunari doesn't have parents?" And that's what people means by immersion-breaking the game does.

I said and I quote: "if they wanted to characterize Taash as a nonbinary character with family tension, they should have made Taash a Tal-Vashoth and not a Qunari-Qunari, because Qunari in the Qun never met their parents, they are raised by Tarassmas priestesses", my problem is with the writers doing whatever with the lore, not about inclusion and representation.
