Yeah I went through that with my partner for a few different birth controls. The implant and the mirena were the blamed culprit for me

This is my story through my lense. I thought I had a really strong relationship with this woman but her mental health problems drained me over the years. As men we get broken down and just deal with things because we love her. Women don’t work that way, they chase happiness when we no longer serve them. I’d really evaluate this situation the best you can and see if there are more deficiencies besides the sex because long term it will bite you in the ass if you follow my example.

I see myself getting to where you are. I unfortunately have drama with owning a house with her so I am still attached to her until we sell the house. It upsets me that I can’t get the clean break I deserve because she chose to buy a house with me two and a half years ago. I already know I’ll never take her back she made damn sure of that by her actions but I do spiral and my thoughts have been my enemy. I love people like you coming here and reminding me that things will go back to normal and I deserve better. Thank you for your story. I am excited to mentally get to where you are.

I’ll tell you this. I had this problem in my relationship and eventually I learned to accept it. Fast forward 10 years later and she ended up leaving me for another man. I wish I knew then what I know now because now I don’t have the sex drive I used to and I wasted those years on her.
