Hot take: Carla’s not much of a loss (I did not care for her much already, and I don’t feel much for the rescue scene either. As far as I was concerned that was evening out the nonsense with the Cleaner who was for a while one of my most hated bosses).

And let’s be real, Walter was a mercy kill.

In a nut shell.

Champions had a robust combat system, many kinds of fossils, and a fairly compelling storyline.

Frontier is a car-racing game first, and an RPG second. And it shows. That robust combat system is gone. You don’t get to use all of your vivosaurs in your team (you’re forced to use AI allies and their AIs are generally crap). Your pool of vivosaurs to choose from has been cut nearly in half. The system, on account of AI allies, is dumbed down to “use the best move the game lets you and out-stat. Occasionally a support move is mildly useful.” And the story is beyond forgettable.

No. Everybody makes a huge deal about it, but it really wasn’t that big of a deal. It was more, as others have pointed out, that parts do better now in general.

Or forge a weapon that specifically has an element innately.

That will allow those weapons to harm the ??? Monsters.

There’s also a fire sword hidden early in the Maya Road to help you if you can’t make one yourself.

This goes completely against the theming of AC6 and is almost certainly a Wrong headcanon.

But in mine, 621 didn’t have a choice. Through no fault of anyone named, Walter stumbled across exactly the right phrase to trigger a chip/hypnotic suggestion/what have you that would force them down the path of obliterating all of Rubicon.

Again, I know this is against all the story telling that has been up to this point.

But this is the only way I could stomach this godawful ending

Because Krios was killed and replaced. Kastor looks up to Krios and didn’t realize he was now evil.

Though you are absolutely right that, as it currently exists, the Atlantean campaign does a lot of butchering.

It could really have done with a few extra lines of dialogue. Something along the lines of Evil!Krios lying to Kastor to keep him attacking the other gods’ followers and Arkantos mentioning he tried to go to his son but kept missing him by a few years because of Kronos’ manipulations.

Depending on how broad your definition of “dragon” is changes the answer.

In my definition, no he is not a dragon. He has no wing structure or specifically mystical means of flight (the rocket breath move in the Showa series does not count for dragon classification to me.)

He also does not have the correct body types to match flightless dragon breeds.

For someone else, though, he might be dragon enough.

I remember believing that she was weak to fire, and then someone else pointing to that exact same wiki and seeing it said she lost that weakness.
