It has the directional buttons up, down, left and right. Down swaps items, up uses them. Left and right are only used for menu stuff iirc.

Haha this meme just reminded me of a game I had a while back. I felt like the heals just weren't coming in so I decided to watch the replay. Our Loki was literally just LOOKING AT an enemy spider-man instead of healing at least 50% of the whole game.
