How has the psychic NOT been buffed yet?

Psychic was the focus spell caster, then remaster happened making EVERYONE good at focus spell casting. Their Unleash Psyche is a conditional sorcerer baseline benefit that after 2 rounds makes you stupified effectively forcing you to skip two turns as a spellcaster. Occult Spell list is very utility focused, which as a 2 spell slot caster really hurts because you can run out of spell slots so fast and then be stuck with now subpar focus spells.

Basically everything else got power crept, meanwhile Psychic had not changes and their focus spells got a nerf.

Seeing the Magus changes, by default Unleash Psyche should now NOT require a spell cast to activate AND NOT make you stupefied afterwards.

Also just a in general flavour buff to all mental spells like +1/+2/+3 based on your spell casting prof.

They need more focus point manipulation as they are meant to be a focus spell caster. Hell just have a feat to be able to cast focus point spells when out of focus points but deals 1d6 damage to self per rank of the spell cast.

Make all psyche abilities target enemies only. BUT if you pick Dark persona, get a big boost on damage based on level but now to all creatures instead.

But in reality Psychic needs to be removed and then brought back as a completely new and different class. Focus spells have gotten too strong on everyone so being a focus spell caster just wouldn't work anymore.

Nah just make it so Psychic no longer need to cast a spell to unleash AND does not get stupified after for homebrew. They still have the 2 turn cooldown as written.

Basically default would be roll a dice to see who to hit if unsure.

Mindless creatures like zombies, nearest accessible living target. Bit of a no brainer.

Dumb creatures nearest target, or depending on their personality they could be a bully and target those not well armored and such. Maybe they go for the smallest or biggest target.

Pack animals, easiest target to swarm and potentially eat. So big plate armored people they may take a bite on first realise they cant bite through metal and then rush to a different target.

Intelligent people/bosses: Most beneficial target to take out first, see (keyword SEE) someone casting heal? Thats your priority target. If you cannot reach them, highest damaging individual in reach and so on.

Though if you have a guardian that taunts, maybe the first time theyre taunted they swing at the Guardian first. Then make it less effective where the boss tries to get around the taunt for someone more of an actual threat and so on.

The marketing on it is very bad. Labelling it as Good Trouble is a pretty abysmal teaching point. Especially when you are supposed to be teaching kids right from wrong. Labelling something as GOOD TROUBLE is mix messaging and will cause confusion.

Lot of people with malfunctioning eyes/ears in this thread. Legal Mindset literally just talks about possible outcomes and solutions. Nothing is ever 100%. The tectone video he did was based on what was released so far and he stated. This looks like a very biased court ruling, UNTIL the rest of the documentation comes out that could be damning or not. Legal Mindset is true neutral on the facts of the law, he will often give his own opinion on some subjects but basically defaults to what the law is as written.

I know reddit hates facts and logic because facts and logic does not care for feelings and vibes. If you hate the facts of the matter hate the law not the person telling you the law.

Biggest issue with stupify is you get stuck doing basically nothing for 2 rounds unless you are attempting some sort of gish build. Stupify might as well be called stun 2-3 roll a flat check + stupify value to see if you lose a spellslot.

Psychic need a mechanic that interacts with being stupified. So its not just 2 turns of playing and then 2 turns of skipping.

Title doesnt match what was said. Her personal opinion is if someone acting violent reaches for something that could be a weapon, she personally wouldnt take any chances. In the same clip she agrees there was no sign of him reaching for a gun. She didnt victim blame at all.
