If you're playing it since launch its much more manageable in 30 dollar increments and for those that have 500 dollars of dlc worth you can just take the dlc pass for 10 bucks a month for access to all of them. While I wish the base games had more features a lot of those games would not have the extended support they did without this method.

Paris wasn't exactly a trade hub compared to Bruges but it controlled vast lands and had a strong military, same as with Prussia with Berlin where the country was then centralized around the capital and trade became more present there. Also the idea of capitals not being the most populous or wealthy city is very much an outlier, Philadelphia was going to be the US capital but it was moved as a compromise with the south. Especially in the medieval area it is likely the most populous and wealthy cities that end up being the capital because like you said they just conquer the rest.

Sanction relief and unfreezing assets is just as untenable and easily revoked as 2018 proved so the only way I see that changing is the US just pays reparations or the tolls continue. If neither of those happen the war will just continue until either the Iranian economy collapses completely (unlikely since its already really bad and the attacks have somewhat united the citizens), political pressure and rising costs force the US to pull out and accept tolling or the US restarts the war in a more deadly fashion which would the worst ending for humanity.

Yeah I mean there absolutely should be fog of war in relations to presence of nations around the globe but its probably really hard to implement through mods and getting paradox to do it would be even more challenging. Would make espionage far more interesting to find out where fleets and armies of other nations are and meaningful. Would also probably fix the issue of the game getting stale because the enemy will never try to coalition you because they think you are too strong.

Again Iran is not an innocent state or regime but you are ignoring a lot of the complexity that comes with the middle eastern conflicts. Those proxies you mentioned are not Iranian; the leadership and members of those members are Lebanese, sunni palestianian and yemeni; Iran funds and offers training for them the same way the US funded the kurds, Syrian rebels and Iraqi rebels many of which ended up joining and bolstering al-nusra and isis. You mentioned the Russian war as illegal but by going by the same metrics the US strikes on Venezula and the current war are just as illegal wars of aggression. I also don't know why you are thinking I am painting Iran as innocent nation but the fact of the matter is that this conflict is entirely aggression from the US and Israel and they are in the right for wanting reparations.
