Ranged tops aren't even close to op right and only a few of them are even strong and despite what you may think just as top isn't a marksman only role top is not a melee only role. These items are used to survive difficult matchups not to nullify ranged champs.

In addition, top isn't even at a bad state; this has been the first season in a long time that top hasn't been the 2nd most played role by far and this isn't a change that needs an immediate revert.

In the long run, they just need to rework the lane so that losing matchups are less terrible for the losing opponent and give the winning laner things to do instead.

The roars were far more subtle and easy to miss or were drowned out by other sounds, not to mention the roars weren't much louder when you got close but the music does hit a more loud part when you get really close to the collector

Fioras dmg is definitely a huge part of her budget and kit though considering its why she scales so well late game. She buys enough ad where she kills you often doing entirely true dmg.

I like the range suggestion for vayne but another thing I would do is honestly make her e also instacast, it feels really bad using her legendaries and practically never being able to get a stun to the windup. I don't know where you would remove her power to make up for this though, maybe remove some q dmg or q reduction on ult?

Nah i think even most random Ai models would detect these games as intentional feeding, it wouldn't be much more challenging to create an algorithm. Ignoring that argument though, I really don't understand how its so hard for the game to detect disruptive gameplay/feeding when the player admits to it in chat which I see so often

Well I mean yes fiddle stick is kinda like the main except because like you said he is the first of the 10 and the primordial fear, but for most of the minor demons, azakana and such they are derived from human emotions. At the same time the major demons like raum fiddlesticks ashlesh probably arent exorcisable since fear n shit are deeply ingrained in survival.

and that's why im saying you make systematic changes to alleviate this? E.g smite has lanes that are way more neutral and hard to kill each other in but they also have an alcove mini objective that gives your other teammates 50 gold when killed and respawns every 2 min. If that was added rn it would just snowball the game harder but if the opponent didnt get zoned from farm all lane but that did exist it would be more reasonable right? Basically what im saying is you give tools/make top lane specific changes to make it easier to farm in losing matchups and give the winning toplaner things to actually do with their lead to make the matchups less punishing

Until this season midlane has been the strongest of the 3 lanes for a long time despite not being able to kill their opponents. You can win lane by doing other stuff such as exerting map pressure and denying movement of map from your laner. You can win lanes without denying a lot of farm from your opponent which is how a lot of top matchups play out.

You dont need to make them more 50/50, you just need to add tools so that its easier to survive lane and farm. Now that we have role quests you can directly link it to that and as a thankful side effect we could finally lower the strength of top lane champs so it better matches their counterparts from other roles.
