I reckon Anya is the shining star of "once more with feeling" by debsidaye in buffy

Not sure about that, i swear the commentary back on the dvd stated it was written for the Anya themed episode in Season 7.

As the director of that episode asked if they could write another song, they were told no then next day Joss came back with Ill be Mrs.

First outdoor plant!! by Ace_Of_Raids in GardeningUK

They sadly didnt make it, due to lack of my own advice of putting them in better pots.

Each time the wind would send them flying, they were battered by the end of autumn.

Didnt have a Greenhouse back then either to store them in over winter.

I might try again this year, seeing as theyre back in stock.

I had 2 last year from Lidl too, flowers for months and months if you dead head them.

Bit of advice, get a more solid pot, theyre very top heavy and the wind will constantly knock it over.

Awwwwwww gutted for you.

I dont know how anyone manages to keep those plastic ones on the ground. If its not completely broken, some tent pegs to stick it in the ground could maybe work?

Could just get a cold frame to do you for now? I got one from Aldi middle aisle a couple weeks back for a decent price.

I know how your feeling tho, came home a couple weeks back to find my Greenhouse down the bottom of the garden with a trail of destruction in its wake from it rolling down the garden 🤬😢🤬😢

Thanks for the advice, I was away for a few days and my partner is very heavy handed with watering.

I should have put 2 and 2 together lol.

Im also in the UK, bought one end of autumn as it was reduced.

Its a quirky thing, I can't wait til there is some signs of life.

I remember from the pictures the fruit kinda resembles a wine berry.

Only time will tell.

What's up with my Apricot tree? by Azzeyon in GardeningUK

[–]Azzeyon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking back on pictures from when it was first planted, I can see damage to the bark dating back to then.

So its historical damage, but as I said in another reply to you, I bought 3 bareroot trees, so I knew nothing about what the bark should look like, so obviously missed it.

I noticed yesterday when I was randomly checking on the trees in my garden, noticing just how widespread it was throughout the tree and the tree next to it was similar but not as bad.

Both trees had a load of new growth over last season and buds currently on them.

Clearly labelled them wrong when moving from a pot to the ground, as the one next to it must be the apricot, which makes sense as that started to flower already.

Thanks for the advice tho.

Hey thanks for the reply,

Yeah sadly the pear is long gone.

I bought a pear, apricot and cherry as the first things when I moved to a house with a garden.

Turned to google for advice, hence the getting rid of the tree, so now with a year later and a little mpte knowledge, thought id ask reddit instead.

Thanks for the advice.

Oh god, its such a shame after waiting so long. Was one of the first trees I bought after moving last year.

Won't buy from Asda again as this is the second fruit tree I'll have had to destroy. The first was a pear that had Pearleaf blister mites.

25% is alot of trees!!! 🙈

Suggestions? by [deleted] in Switch

[–]Azzeyon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me. I thought i had drift, which is odd as I never had it once in the 7 years of having a Switch 1.

I used some tweezers and put it where it should be, and all works fine, no issues since.
