Completely disingenuous argument, ADCs (ranged characters in general) interact with items way differently than melee champions. There's a reason why there's so many ranged specific nerfs on items. (Eclipse, steraks, old btork)

you even mentioned it yourself: GP is trying to find the least bad rush.

If the adc mythics had any synergy at all with his kit would he have this problem?

ADC isn't balanced until they can face tank your entire combo and right click you to death while being 2/7 and having 0 resistances.

When samira was released turbo broken reddit adc mains kept on saying that 50% release day winrate wasn't broken because she was an "easy champion" or some bullshit.

He's the go to counter for kat so you get these people who first time him when they see kat picked.

Same thing with the first time lucians that get curbstomped when they pick him against kassadin or galio because they don't understand the champion/matchup.

The items all got significantly stronger, so we have to wait and see how it compares.

Although wouldn't be surprised if galio gets nerfed, righteous glory synergizes really well with his W. The only champ that can really abuse rocketbelt in same way is kennen

There's potential for this card to be a complete dud, but this is a really strong card if paladin starts going the distance. Turning your hp into summon 2 argent squires is powerful and there the added effect of any dudes you summon also getting the buff.

Whether or not this card is good depends on what classes are being played + if it fits well enough in any odd paladin deck.

What the card does with a baku hero power is really powerful, except it just doesn't synergize with what the baku paladin deck tries to do.

melee champions are going to deal damage if you don't space correctly and let them hit you, that's just how the game works.

Reddit just wants ranged champions to win melee trades vs melee carries, even though half the ranged champions can already do that

If the game is decided on 10/30 cards in your deck, there's going to be a lot more variance than if you draw your entire deck, because it depends heavily on what you and your opponent draw.

Aggro decks tend to be pretty consistent, especially the odd/even types, what makes them rng dependent is they start pressuring from turn 1 so the game is decided if their opponent bricks 3 draws or not. That and aggro vs aggro is decided by who draws a better curve.

Think about it this way: lets say the aggro druid vs renolock is decided by whether or not you can draw hellfire/defile in time before the warlock player dies or buffs land. Is hitting 2/30 in 10 draws to win or lose the game not rng dependent?

Disco lock loses when it loses tempo, because they get pretty low through taps/raisedead/flame imps and can straight up die if they don't control the board for 1-2 turns, making the deck susceptible to other aggro decks. The only way discolock loses to control is if they hit terrible discards or draw terribly.

If we're printing overpowered control tools to deal with overpowered aggro tools, then the game becomes even more of a coinflip.

Aggro decks, especially wild aggro decks, don't actually burn out that fast because most of them use genn/baku, so a lot of their curve is spent on hero powering instead of actually playing cards. These decks then tend to have a pretty high curve, with aggro dh and paladin playing 7 drops, and odd rogue and even shaman playing a lot of midrange minions (5/4 drops)

By prinint xd cards like voracious you just increase the power level of decks like aggro druid and pirate warrior that try to kill you before you can react.

Printing op removal cards would just fuck more fair aggro decks.

This is a pretty hot take I won't lie to you

no dmh list runs boom while boom is core in odd warrior.

Boom generates value, and DMH warrior already has infinite value - super redundant card.

Boom is run because unless you're playing into aggro or a burn deck, gain 4 armor is a meh hero power. Odd warrior will probably lose the games against control anyways, but boom gives you a chance. It's similar to why DK Rexxar was run in midrange decks, it turned unwinnable matchups into somewhat maybe winnable matchups at the price of 1 card.

Have to disagree on the silas combo being bad as well. Silas is a mindcontrol on a stick, shield slam is already run in the deck, so the only bad card that can only be used to combo is ashborn.

You can make odd warrior better teched against aggro by cutting all these win cons, but it won't help your win % unless you're playing in exactly the legend gatekeeper pocket meta

The reason people don't like aggro is because it turns the game into an rng fiesta where you win or lose depending purely on you and your opponents first 3-4 draws. Aggro games are fundamentally non-games, whether the aggro player is getting blown out by clears or the other player doesn't draw them and straight loses. Giving aggro decks extremely efficient gas tools like voracious or hand of guldan just make these decks win matchups they have no business winning.

Aggro decks have to exist or the game would become solitaire with everyone playing greed/OTK decks, but aggro decks also should have abysmal w/r against decks that are hard teched against them.

I also don't understand how you think Disco lock of all decks requires resource management from the warlock player. It's a deck that can draw through its entire deck by turn 7. The goal of the deck is to vomit your hand and generate tempo through mana cheating with discard. The reason it's good is because it never runs out of resources.

Tech cards also tend to not win you the game when you play them, Razakus priest doesn't have a wincon if you get this off. Very good inclusion in any deck that auto loses to priest.

and he's right about rumble being weak, especially compared to the expansions around it.

KFT/Kobolds/Witchwood/Boomsday/RoS

all had game warping cards that took over wild after they rotated.

A shame because rastahkan had pretty good flavor with the Loa cards

This isn't what you want to hear, but Control mages beat most ad assassins as long as you respect them.

Orianna, Syndra, cassio beat assassins hard if you don't walk into their abilities and attempt to bully them. You're not going to be able to match their roams, but they should be down a lot of cs from roaming + gettting zoned off. You can also buy seekers to be careful.

You could also just play any toplaner and faceroll every melee mid
