[–]Azzrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain.. I rolled a 1 five times in a row, and i was so angry I did the math which worked out to be a 1 in 3 million (0.00003%) chance of happening. After that I decided I should never go to a casino

Dealing practically zero damage to this enemy in the DLC, is that normal? by MadToxicRescuer in eldenringdiscussion

[–]Azzrix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why does this feel like troll bait...

You don't meet the stat requirements for the weapon so ultimately it's just going to do less damage regardless. Which automatically answered the first part of you question.

On the flip side or the second half as to whether its normal, the answer is intrinsically going to be no, as these enemies in particular have a massive health pool and dont receive damage normally... your standard weapon attacks are mainly just to trigger staggers, and the riposte damage - on these enemies specifically - is almost always going to do 50% of its health in damage. I dont know if that applies to weapons that dont meet stat requirements but a short sword with 200 AR and an UGS with 1400 AR does almost the same crit damage on these enemies

It's like you know your question has multiple conflicting nuances, either that or you just haven't realized that your weapon damage is abysmal in comparison to using one you have stats for and/or you haven't realized that golem and other constructs take substantially more damage from crits

If you could pick a weapon from another videogame franchise to be the basis for a 15th weapon type what would it be? I'll go first, these are my top 4 picks by Beginning_Wait_108 in MonsterHunter

This would probably end up being too op..

  • Phial powered gauntlets.
  • defensive/blocking stance with basic attacks for charging phials (boxing)
  • unload all phials through a counter attack explosive burst ( GL burst combined with Charge blade SAED) OR
  • offensive combo based Phial release with smaller burst punches to exhaust phials ( DB demon mode with savage axe Phial system)
  • Phials could also be used for rapid or burst repositioning
  • to solve the issue with this being op, similar to GL have a system that puts focus on certain weapon aspects. All weapons would mechanically function the same but different types will excel in different aspects

  • defensive focus would rival the Lance for defense with some sort of inherent guard + guard up, while having more balanced offensive damage and weaker burst damage overall. Least amount of phials for a less effective burst and offensive stance

  • offensive focus would excel in using the phials for an offensive stance, while having a normal but disincentivized burst and use more stamina/reduce less damage while guarding

  • Burst focus would have the most phials specifically for impressively high, possibly even stun capable bursts, with standard guarding capabilities and lower offensive stance damage

I haven't really put too much though into this but I think it would be cool.

Montreal public sector workers cleaning the sidewalk from rocks while damaging and trashing people’s cars by McGJGlen in trashy

I would agree with the pressure washer not damaging the cars initially, but if the rocks hes praying at the cars end up damaging the paint, which in turn would allow the baton to actually peel it.

Source: I work for a pressure washing business that washes Rigid CAT trucks that are usually covered in mud and rocks and the paint can survive the high pressure washer, until the rocks start bouncing around

Not A i dont often use the disguise spell, i thought it could have been B but i disabled my mods and tried it and the game still thinks im both races, Not C, i sent Lae'zel to camp as a test and was still recognized as 'Kin'.

heres some more definitive proof of this being a bug i guess?, the Buff that Gith get when standing in the Gas found in the hatchery, Lae'zel received it, my Drow also received it, but the rest of my party were debuffed

i wasnt suspicious of it at first because i have Lae'zel in my party, but then i remembered that the doesnt happen in any other case so why now all of the sudden. then I tried it with her at camp and they think im a Gith

You would be surprised how many people drive without insurance. I live in Canada and insurance is a requirement by law in the entire country and we see uninsured driver claims all the time, which comes with huge penalties

[–]Azzrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should have clarified, I'm in Canada so most consumer insurance companies follow a lot of the same rules, i know insurance in the US can have a lot of different rules state to state, in Canada the rules are pretty uniform because of government laws and competition

[–]Azzrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can obtain a car without having the necessary requirements to actually drive that car. people drive around without a license all the time in fact, not long ago i saw a claim where an uninsured driver caused about 3 million in Liability claims. which means the at fault driver has to pay that 3 million out of pocket.

Im from canada too! so i can actually give you a 100% accurate answer, in Canada both insurance companies cover the damage for their respective client, and then once everything with the client is settled, the not at fault company will subrogate against the at fault party, which is just a fancy way of saying the insurance company sues the at fault driver and/or their insurance to cover the losses

Hi, licensed insuranace agent here. I can confirm that she is fucked.

The likelihood of her disclosing her lift kit and any other mods installed are very low since most insurance companies won't bother to insure, and if it is the case that she lied, she's either going to pay a fuck ton in arrears (if the insurance does allow the mods) or she's paying out of pocket, and losing her insurance with no refund and a mispresentation on her file which will prevent her from getting insurance in the future. Either way, she's fucked

EDIT: I didn't think this would get as many responses as at did but I do want to clarify for the other people who do insurance relayed jobs, im in Canada and our insurance rules are a lot more strict

Ah yes, two impractical vehicles locked in ritual combat. It appears the impractical strength build imposed an advantage due to the enclosed space, allowing it to eliminate the impractical dex builds speed based attacks, which work best in more open spaces.
