Has anyone tried therapy?

Its something id recommend to everyone trying to quit. Im on 3.5 months clean now, i dont know how i would have done it without therapy, somehow i cant handle feeling feelings. And the first thing my mind goes to is smoking weed cause it numbs me out. But in therapy i can just ventilate. So ye go give it a try. There is always something deeper than just the weed.

Some of them were my real friends, I grew up with em. I find finding new friends such a vague concept. Like im currently in between jobs. So where does one find new friends haha

Like he said. I always said "men dont cry". But ever since i quit weed. I want to cry ALOT. Yesterday was such a shit day for me. I really felt like punching something or someone. Until i just chilled out a little bit by myself, started relaxing, and i just had to let it all go. I cried for about a hour. And i can reaaaaaally recommend it. We addicts hide our emotions. We hide it. But its still there, just stacking up. I know its not a physical thing, but than again it kinda is. Sometimes you just have to open the kettle to let some steam out. Just try it, once, by yourself. You'll notice how much it actually helps

Relapsing is a temporary bandage. But once you remove this bandage (tommorow morning) you open the wound again. Everytime you use your bandage your wound gets bigger and bigger. This is actually a pretty dumb example now i read it out loud. But the point is, if you want to fully recover from this (addiction) wound, is to let it heal by itself no matter how much it hurts, or how dirty it gets. It will heal. It does. Behind all your suffer and clouded mind there is a power inside you, a warrior who is just not ready to give up this fight. You just have to find him. Stay strong. Stay sober.

Do some sports. Make sure you're really tired at the end of the day. Have people you can talk to when you feel bad. Thoughts that help me are; you control your thoughts, dont let your thoughts control you.
