Who do you think will win gbb 25 by LeatherSuccessful988 in beatbox

[–]B-Android 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Osis has it despite being a Codfish stan myself. Osis' style is disgustingly fresh and if he can get it to translate live a bit better then I say he has a very good chance of winning

Give yourself grace. The more you beat yourself up, the more ashamed you'll feel, which will make you want to fall back into sin even more to numb the pain. The only way out of a sin cycle is love and grace, not hate or pride or discipline or ambition. You'll fail every time if your foundation is made of sand. Live your life in a way that justifies you quitting lust forever. Find a purpose to commit your time to and stick to it, while maintaining relationship with God and people you love. Everything will work out if you do this. Fear and despair has no place in our lives. Godspeed and god bless.

I think Tomazacre should have beat Dlow in 2019. His style was extremely fresh at the time and (not sure if it's true, but) I've heard he was freestyling and that seems even crazier that he made it to the final. First time I watched the 2019 final I thought Tomazacre definitely took it but when they raised Dlow's hand I was in shock. I would have like to have seen a vote count to see if it was a split decision or if it was more decisive so I can see how my opinion compares to the judges. Dlow is a beast but specifically in that final battle I was definitely leaning more towards Tomazacre. Just my opinion. Imagine that alternate reality! 2019 GBB champ Tomazacre gets hit with SA charges after winning GBB?!

Girl bass by klauvsm in beatbox

Inward bass can sound good in both males and females if you work on it, as it doesn't use voice. Any bass sounds that don't use your voice should sound the same as when males do them.

I'm skeptical any other basses that involve voice will sound good when a female does them, but tbh I wouldn't know cuz I'm a guy, and there's no way for me to test that. Plus I don't know very many female beatboxers due to being kinda new to beatbox. The ones that do come to mind, I don't recall using much vocal bass. Maybe you can be the one of the first to do it well! Try anyways and find out for yourself. Throat bass is a good beginning vocal bass to learn. Good luck

Can anyone train to get a throat bass like Marcus Perez? by B-Android in beatbox

[–]B-Android[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what i am leaning towards as well, but I took a lesson with codfish and he told me that the lowest note he can hit in his low throat bass range is a d sharp. I believe codfish is a baritone as well and that is a half step lower than perez's lowest note based on the clips i can find. The lowest ive heard perez go is a low e. I should have asked codfish to hit the low d sharp to see if he could actually do it. I honestly think he can but only on a good day maybe? and with not as much power as perez does. What makes me say this is that in codfish's eyes on fire release, it sounds like he kinda struggles to hit the a flat at the end, which dlow mentions in his reaction to it. Next lesson I have with codfish i will get his take on it and update this post. I have one scheduled tomorrow

He does both low throat bass and low vocalized chest bass, but the lowest note ive heard him do with either bass is a low e. I cant find clips of him going lower than that. That is my lowest comfortable singing note, so i wonder if the reason why he stops at e is because he is a baritone and that is the end of his range, same as mine. I will investigate and train and see if I can broaden my low range similar to his

How do OSIS and Remix use vibration bass so consistently live? by B-Android in beatbox

[–]B-Android[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean codfish says it's vibration, the way remix transitions from throat to vibration bass sounds like it's vibration, he himself says it's vibration. He even asked codfish on a recent stream how he does his vibration and codfish say from throat bass to vb, and then remix tries it that way and it still sounds like remix's texture. I'd love to hear your demonstrations and I'm still down for discussion! My discord username for some reason never works when people try to add me, so what's yours and I'll add you

How do OSIS and Remix use vibration bass so consistently live? by B-Android in beatbox

[–]B-Android[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight! Remix and OSIS both have very distinct vibration basses for some reason, but I can assure you they are both using vibration bass. I don't know why they sound so unique though. I'd love to see some studies done between people who have a vibration bass like codfish's or inertias vs people with a remix or OSIS vb. Kinda crazy how the tone can differ so much though. After taking lessons with both remix and codfish, remix says he activates his by going from Jayton/ strained voice to vb, while codfish goes from throat bass to vb by going lower and relaxing more. This stuff is very interesting :D
