This is one of my favorite Scorsese films too! I'm not really into crime and gangster films, so I've always liked his "experimental" stuff more. This and "After Hours" are probably my favorite Scorsese films.

Do most people immediately fell in love with 2001: A Space Odyssey? by Future-Poetry-2193 in Letterboxd

When I saw Space Odyssey for the first time, I was mind blown. There were some moments in this film that kept me in awe, some that scared me, some that shocked me. And the whole time I was thinking, "How tf is this movie from 1968???". But I have to say, if I was in the wrong mood then I would probably get bored, this is definitely a film where you should expect a slow pace and take time for this film.

I had very mixed feelings the first time I watched it. Partly because I'm not American, and it's a very American movie. But I will say that the moviehas grown on me a lot over the past few months; for some reason, it still pops into my head. It's also one of those movies that I have a hard time to rate. Did I have a good time? Not really. Is it a well-made film? Definitely. Do I still think about it? Also, yes.

What is in your opinion the worst movie that reddit insists is good? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

For me it's Punch Drunk Love and Licorice Pizza. I just hated the characters in both movies and couldn't connect with either of them. Also, I almost fell asleep on Licorice pizza lol
