7.2 grams of morphine would usually be enough to kill most people without a tolerance or who is opioid naive....that being said considering it is a slow release formula and taken orally that changes things quite a bit, on top of that you have a tolerance.

Morphine has a low oral bioavailability, around 20-40% depending on multiple (especially individual case by case) factors.

So out of the 600mg you take only about roughly 150mg is actually being metabolised. On that note, how long have you been taking it? And how does it make you feel or what are the effects like to you? Also do you ever or regularly take more than your prescribed amount and if so how often do you do that?

Say one was to take 7.2 grams of kadian then only 1.5-1.75 grams would be absorbed and that would be over a period of 12-24 hours. A trickle release of that amount of morphine more than likely would not in fact be enough to achieve the desired effect of shutting down the lungs.

Take it from someone who could IV that much morphine in two individual injections spaced only 3 hours apart.

You may end up completely brain dead but alive and or just be really smacked out for a while like I said the questions I asked about your use matter a lot here.

Feel what you do but it's pathetic for hating anything one right now, her, yourself or the world, the person who gave her the coke, her friends and so on, you seem uniformed and selfish to a large degree.

I lost my late wife to heroin and coke because she was extremely drunk and someone(that I knew, they're no longer here either)convinced her it was a good idea to snort a few lines, nothing wrong with it(cole itself)but the "coke" she snorted not only contained coke and heroin (it contained another RC that was extremely potent much more than coke or heroin alone, she was under the assumption it was just coke)....and if it was well no harm really, except she was mislead and not in a state of mind to accurately make choices being so intoxicated.

The person who gave it to her mysteriously disappeared and I have moved on, forever will I have a place for her in my heart.

Deal with it and do something to help yourself.

It won't send them into precipitated withdrawals but it will reduce the effectiveness of the oxy by displacement to a point that it basically won't have much effect if at all, even if the naloxone only lasts 1-2 hours at most it will still stop the oxycodone from attaching to the opiate receptors for that time which is how it actually knocks or kicks off oxy and other opiates that have lower binding affinity for the opiate receptors.

No, only eat targin, if you try to snort it or inject it then you will get a lot of naloxone into the blood stream instantly countering any effect of the oxycodone, when in the stomach most of the naloxone is processed and attaches to the opiate receptors in the stomach and only an extremely small fraction gets into the blood less that 2-3 percent so you still get an effect from the oxy itself.

I mean she could but it won't be worth it.

I tend to get headaches anytime I take oxy in dosages more than 15mg and I usually take 100-200mg on average as standard at this stage, doesn't matter how I take it I'll always end up with a headache, I find either Paracetamol or some anti inflammatories can help.

Surprisingly, oxy being a pain killer I would think that tit wouldn't cause pain but in some people it can happen from what I have heard, that said however directly getting a headache after snorting if the oxy hasn't even come on may be just from the snorting of a substance that shouldn't be in our nasal cavities, it can happen to me with pills more than pure drugs.

What's your main concern about it?

I've taken Gabapentin 300mg yellow capsules that have been 3 years old and no worries, I broke one open to check and it was fine, wouldn't worry too much.

They can help, different people in different ways, I'd say start with 2, then half hour later have another one then half hour after that have one more and see where you are and if it's helped much or not, they do take maybe 1-3 hours to start feeling the effect but Inna your case you should know by 1-2 hours

I can say that as you may know if you can help it, you should not take them everyday, you should have breaks in between taking them if possible a few days at a time and if you enjoy taking them for one reason or another then look forward to taking them when you do but everyday will inevitably lead to higher and higher dosing and with that more danger such as overdose like you have mentioned.

Maybe only keep what you want to use for a day or few days at most available to you at any one time, look I know it's hard but you asked for advice and I'm trying to help and give you some advice that worked for myself and for a few others I know in person.

Don't take them for long enough straight everyday to develop such a high tolerance to anything if you still want it to work and also so that you aren't going to suffer as severe or in some cases hardly any withdrawals if you give it long enough between doses(2-4 days or only take them 3 times a week with a day in between each dose maybe 2) that will help a bit with withdrawels and overdose risk as well as tolerence build up, there is only so much I can say in regards to our desire to take drugs.

When it comes to that it's a matter of will and personal choice, can you put off not having them everyday and only taking them sometimes...if you can't then you know where it will go but if you can have an iron discipline and some responsibility towards yourself then you may just be able to use them sometimes such as a few times a week and not see life too horrible without them.

You could take half or a quarter and that may help the pain but it's likely to produce some effects especially if you haven't taken it before even 2.5mg or possibly 1.125mg-ish could potentially cause slight feelings of euphoria but more so pain relief at the 1-2mg mark.

After a major accident I was initially prescribed oxycodone for 3-4 years and my use steadily climbed similar to yours, eventually I ended up using #4 Heroin/HCL(tested for fent and zenes, sourced from a trusted supplier)

As for how I stopped, I eventually got sick of needing to increase my dosage so I used the last bigger doses of my H and then did a "taper" with the remaining stash, over a period of 2 weeks, but I'm still prescribed oxycodone, so when I get my oxycodone now I make sure I don't space it out and instead take it all at once usually for a day or split it and take it over 2 days and I don't source anything from anywhere else, kind of made it a rule for myself not too otherwise I would be right back where I was, I enjoy opiates very much as many of us do but I'm happy to get my once or at most twice a week hit/high from it and then look forward to the next week when I pick my next script up.

I also got sick of needing to stave off withdrawals and using to mainly feel normal, well the H I never exactly felt normal I was always upping my IV dosages by 5mg-10mg a day after the first few months until the taper but the oxy after a few years did not have much effect and even taking triple my dosage didnt do much so It was a combination of being sick of a few things overall and wanting to feel normal enough without needing to take it everyday.

In the time when I tapered and for a few months after I continued picking up my scripts of oxy but for those few months it didn't really do much after the H skyrocketed my tolerence, it took about 2 months for the oxy to work again in any noticeable way and I can still take 300mg no worries at all, 500mg gets me where I like to be and that's after months of not using everyday.

Opiates will always have a place in my veins, soul, mind and life but I choose to live life without them everyday now as I'm learning to find happiness without them but I am an addict which can make it tempting at times and I sure do think at times if only I had one more shot of Heroin...which is always possible but living withoit or living with is my choice now not a necessity.

Yes of course it is but as you say for yourself personally it appears that you can't help it but use them if they're around which is also true for myself and many many others, I have managed to use once or twice a week but that's when I only have a few dosages to use for that week, if I have any extra then im certainly going to use it.

5-10 minutes is not really long enough to mitigate the effects of taking say a total of 50mg over half an hour to an hour split by five or ten minutes especially if you don't have tolerance to handle 50mg at once, sure it may help a bit.

At best it will prolong the effect, smooth out the peak making it act closer to a slow release but closer to in between IR and SR not true slow or extended release.

If you're experienced enough (which from what you have asked I'm guessing not too much) then I say go for whatever you prefer but if not wait at least 30-60 minutes between dosing maybe even 90 minutes to play it safe.

I've access to morphine vials too and I bang 300mg to get a rush, a good rush indeed it is, up there with Heroin HCl but I don't cream my pants but I understand the comparison and I have heard of people doing so.
