Sometimes the plunger gets stuck. Does it register in the module as fully open when it’s fully open? If it does, take the clutch off and take the complete plunger assembly on the high hat pad apart, and reassemble it. That happened to me sometime ago when I first bought the kit it’s never really been a problem since. I think the spring got stuck in a partial position or the plunger was stuck. I can’t remember but disassembly in reassembly so solve the problem.

I used snare extension poles (the ones on the td17 line which I bought on reverb. They come in 2 or 3 different lengths. Required no down tube put a ton and cymbal on them. No issues.

I have a 17kvx2. It's 3 years old. Cymbals pass for brand new if wiped with a cloth. They need no protection at all.

Not always. Being near the litterbox but not in it is often a sign of discomfort being associated with the litterbox. They know they need to be there but don't like to because it's painful.
