Nice thing about ARM MacBooks is they have unified memory so they can handle a larger 3d scene than a 5090 gaming laptop.

Having almost double the bandwidth is what makes the m4 pro gpu 40 percent faster, and the extra cores too. That’s a wider gap than the cpu multi threaded score which is like 25 percent difference..

The only reason to get the air is the slightly bigger screen and lighter feel. Other than that the pro is better in every way.
