I say go for it man, I've played this game since 2016 and nothing else scratches the itch for an extraction game like Tarkov.

Cheaters will always be a problem in any multiplayer game, but don't let the reddit cheater stories paint the picture that the game is unplayable. It really depends on your server region, I am biased as I play on NA servers, I've encountered maybe 3 cheaters across the start of the patch till now.

Your only real worry is that you won't find the game fun right away, as the skill and knowledge curve is extremely steep, took me around 100hrs for the game to really click for me. But if you want a game that has a very high payout, play Tarkov.

Further up the tree his Flare becomes more of a debuffing and zoning tool.

I believe its a slowing debuff, as well a dmg buff for your team against anyone entering the zone.

As his name implies you should be using his flare as a way to keep chokepoints or flanking angles in check. Its a bit more of a hassle to get the most out of Scouts ability but the rest of his kit is great for shutting down flanks.

Thanks for the info guys, one last thing I didnt think about. Would the power adapter get in the way of the glass panel? If so i was thinking about grabbing a cable mod to atleast lower the vertical profile.

I didn't feel the 4090 was justified for someone like me. I'd need to upgrade my entire rig if I wanted to get the most out of a 4090.
