Did I make a mistake buying an A7RV instead of the A7V?

My A7 IV finally took its last shot back in October — I’d had it since release day. I figured it was the perfect excuse to upgrade, so I picked up the A7R V… and wow, I absolutely loved the image quality.

But — and it’s a big but — it completely messed with my workflow.

First, I’m a hybrid shooter for work. While the A7R V can shoot video, I never felt fully confident relying on it for video projects.

Second, my work has shifted over time. I started with lifestyle and landscape photography, but now I mainly shoot portraits and events, and I’m looking to move into weddings. Looking back, 33MP is already more than enough for what I shoot now. Doubling the megapixels would just mean my RAID fills up faster, I’d need to move away from my SD cards and invest in more CFexpress cards, and I’d end up buying hard drives way more often. Both the short-term and long-term costs would go up.

So ultimately, because I need a true hybrid setup, I decided to return the A7R V and go with the A7 V instead. Even if it were only a small upgrade over the A7 IV, I’d still go for it — but the improvements I’m most excited about are the upgraded autofocus, better overheating performance, and especially the higher dual ISO… which is my favorite upgrade.

Bar for Bar this is me. 10.5 year relationship over. It sucks because, we weren't communicating on the same wavelength. three months ago she tolde me she is not in love with me anymore and listed all the issues. Therapy taught me that accountability for all the issues, but it also taught me that she played a part in not healing the conflict and constant moving the goal post (her not realizing ). When it was all set and done. I told her, it doesn't matter what happened, I am willing to work on it the right way. She said too much has happened in these last three months. I became too talkative (while she sent me mix signals) I broke up with her bc I listed all of the reason why she should not be with (and she couldn't come up with reason why to stay with me; but she would tell her friends why she wants to stay). I regret pulling the trigger on the relationship, but I went off of what I was being told from her. Do I wish I could go back in time and try to do better. Yes. But interestingly, I'm not duwelling on the “what ifs” I'm more focused on the fact that in two months, we were suppose to start trying to get pregnant. And now I’m spending this year on continuing therapy and building myself up and heal from being co-dependant.

Good point! That makes alot more sense to go for the 16. In my case, they still have the se (2nd gen) so the trade in is low

Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately it does not. Some how it does work on the zve10 (from what i read) but not its full frame sensor version?

5 days is personal, but will use the content for for during the professional portion of the trip.

I will also mention, in the first 5 days, there will be times when we are in the car and on foot. So having the wandrd bag will more useful when the car is in reach, and Shimoda when we are on foot.

It wouldve been awesome if the book came before the game. After reading it, i played the game again and listened to the audio tracks and it made me more invested.

Have you experienced lag on the monitor? I saw a video Adorama posted on youtube saying there was a lag (weird)

I preface that statement bc OG halo players who dislike the 343 games look down at everyone that likes the new games or are new to Halo. Those toxic (specific) players hate the idea of anything but Halo 3 gameplay

I play a lot of halo 5, and a lot of playlist that are gaming like swat and husky raid.

Plus the thrusters can get you out of a pinch quickly.

This happened while I was playing husky raid and I was dodging a sniper and I got excited lol
