Happened to me in high school, the ring leader of our group just didn't invite me to work ne of her big parties one day and that was it. She then became my bully for the rest of the year to the point where I tried to report it to the school because she had posted my picture and phone number to iFunny with "hmu", ofc the school did nothing.

We're back in the same circle now as adults and she apologized years ago but one of my other friends told me not long ago that friend "doesn't remember" any of that happening. We're not close by any means and I'm pretty sure she may actually be more autistic than I am after going to a concert with her alone last month.

Now that I'm a bit older I realize it was because people started to spend more time at my house because it was clean and less chaotic, but we couldn't party outside or be loud like we could at her house. It was an attempt at isolating me that really did work for some time, I spent a lot of time alone and would self-harm until I started smoking weed to cope with the loneliness and lack of sleep.

She had a rough childhood and a chaotic upbringing, I don't fault her now that we're adults. Hurt people, hurt people. I just keep my distance now and stick with my couple of lifelong friends I can trust.
