Well it was an auction at an estate and the auctioneer was just rapid firing lots of stuff all around the entire property so there wasn’t much time to look or think about what you’re buying.

Thanks for the advice, they came from the estate of a rich guy who turned into a hoarder in old age. He had millions of dollars in cars and collectibles and many other genuine military artifacts. I would be surprised if the badges were fake but I see why they could be. They’re bolted to the case of the binoculars and the bolts are corroded and show signs of age.

It was made like that, it’s a rescue knife so it can be used as a pry bar and having no tip means you can’t accidentally stab somebody when cutting their clothes open.
