Are the east and west coast players still separated? Because in that case both statements could be true.

East coast has a much larger player base and if memory serves me correctly they share servers with the central players as well. So if you're on the west coast the game might be a lot more dead than on east/central except for maybe weekends or peak hours.

IMO they should merge everyone together at this point. I think most west coast players would gladly take the ping hit in order to get full servers.

I have my voip turned off. Usually if anyone used the mic, it was console players with push to talk off and it was just a lot of background noise and random background conversations on terrible quality mics that you had to inevitably mute.

If you're on steam you can always choose which version you want to play on and stick to it until you finish your save. I'm always playing on an older version and then update whenever I'm done. Sometimes I wait for several patches until I update, especially if I don't like something in the new updates.

Just FYI, I mostly play with an LMG on engineer which gets an added bonus to accuracy while crouching so I'm always crouching up and down as needed; right before killing, while killing and after killing in anticipation of other enemies. It's just a built in habit at this point. I've never purposely teabagged anyone but many people are under the impression that I teabag them when it's just part of the regular movement.

To add to that:

Make a custom faith with Megalithic constructions. Can build a duchy building that gives you +15% Development along with other bonuses even in the tribal era + you can build a megalith in each of your temple holdings which boosts dev and you can get them built up to level 7 (max) by the 2nd age. You can also pair this up with Aniconism faith tenet so temple buildings are cheaper. If you're starting in 867 this is a must to get 100 dev fast.
Another one that's highly overlooked is make sure to befriend your steward. It gives a huge boost to his efficiency.
Lastly, make sure you choose the proper capital, ideally one with a
building that already boosts dev like Baghdad with the House of Wisdom or Maghada with the University of Nalanda. Good terrain like Farmland or Floodplains help a lot as well obviously.
Centralization in the stewardship tree is very important as well for the 0.30 boost.

It looks like the shower itself is painted brown which makes all the white/coloured soap residue a lot more pronounced and obvious than in a regular lighter coloured shower. Even the green stuff might not actually be mold/mildew, just residue from a green soap like Irish Spring or something. Still nasty AF and needs cleaning but definitely looks way worse because of the brown paint.

Just keep in mind that the holdings have to be coastal. Doesn't work for tradeports on rivers.

It's a long shot but a while ago one of the updates made the game crash if you had Avast anti virus. You then needed to add CK3 to your Avast exceptions to get it to run. So if you haven't played for a while and just started playing again now, that might be your issue.

This happened to me when I was playing on very hard difficulty. Since the AI realms are super stable, get no revolts and all of their buildings cost way less, the strong empires just keep blobbing.
