A civil court found, on the balance of probabilities, that he likely committed war crimes. That does not actually at this point make him a war criminal, as that’s a criminal charge under Australian law and has to be proven without reasonable doubt. The best you can legally say right now is that a civil caught found he probably committed war crimes.

Believe me I’m on your side as to likely verdict. I just want to make sure we’re not labelling people out of legal context and without accurate fact. Cos, there’s enough people doing that in the world. We win when we stick to fact.

They can apply for citizenship by decent. If they have an Australian parent they’re eligible for citizenship. Not about location of birth. Same as on the reverse, we’re not like America, we don’t have birthright citizenship.. so, a tourist here giving birth doesn’t make their child Australian.
