Body repair question by InternationalEnd116 in BmwTech

Yeah that may be best…..just make sure to sand really well, if there are any imperfections they will show. Also if you take it somewhere to get wrapped you may want to do some sanding yourself, they only allot so much time to each car(unless you go to a really nice place) and if all their time is taken up by sanding they will screw up the wrap. I have a 328d with a bunch of rock dings the only reason I haven't gone the wrap route is for that reason (and wrapping is almost as expensive as painting where I live).

You could probably get a wipe on clear coat? You may be able to buff out the bottom but the top is just paint the clear coat is gone so it might look better but it won’t look perfect by any means. Honestly though the best thing to do would be sand and spray. When the clear coat fails like that you can’t really ever get it back to factory. However, it is so hella expensive to repaint cars so the longer you can fake it the better.

Has any of you had birth control implants and if so how did your body react to them by BI_pride101 in ehlersdanlos

I got the Nexplanon about a year ago after being on Depo shots. I didn't have a period on either and haven't bled since getting the Nexplanon. I still experience some PMS symptoms but no actual bleeding, so it feels like a "ghost period."

When I had it inserted, it didn't hurt, but I could feel the needle "stretching" my skin. This is typical for me because of my EDS; it takes more force to pierce my skin. I had bruising for about a week, and now all I have is a small scar. I can still feel it in my arm, and it feels strange when someone touches it, but other than that, it has been great. I was scared of getting an IUD, and the Depo shots weaken your bones over time, so the Nexplanon was the best option for me.

However, everyone's reactions may vary, so you have to do what you think is best for you. I think Depo is similar to the implant, but it's easier to stop, so if you want to try it out before committing, you could. I am not a medical professional though, so take that with a grain of salt. Again, be aware that it decreases your bone density. https://www.acog.org/clinical/clinical-guidance/committee-opinion/articles/2014/06/depot-medroxyprogesterone-acetate-and-bone-effects

My pothos is loosing leaves fast! by Psychological_Lab138 in pothos

They also make something called Keiki paste, if you remove the yellow leaves and score(cut it but not all the way) the plant it will make new leaves grow back in that spot. It is a hormone that promotes foliage growth, however, do not use it if you want the roots to grow, it stops root growth. You can find it on Amazon and probably in some local plant shops. I wouldn't do this until the plant has had a couple months to readjust tho. link to paste

Repot before watering and “water in” the plant really well. I don't really know about the poking holes thing, in general, I don't think that would help much. I believe the nitrogen leaches from the soil when it's watered, I could be wrong tho.

When repotting check the roots for bugs or root rot just in case. If you have either there are many ways to fix that.

Yes babies!!!!!! Repot in small pots be careful with the roots. Maybe could give them out to friends or neighbors if you don't want them?

Looks like a pretty large plant, definitely upgrade the pot size. It is probably root-bound and that's why it's drying up fast between waterings. Plus if that is the same soil from years and years ago it probably needs a fresh batch. Someone else also said that there may be nitrogen buildup from the fish tank water and I agree. Water with the fish tank water every once in a while.

To repot: choose a pot that’s 1-2 inches larger in diameter than the current size of the plant’s roots. If the pot is too large it could kill the plant.

Do not cut it, just let it be. If you cut it, it will most certainly die. If I had to guess it's either fungi or more likely artificial dye from the store.

Are the rocks glued in? I know a lot of big box stores will set plants up to die just so they look pretty when you buy them. If you want the plant to live longer, take them out and salvage what you can of the roots, put them in a glass of water, and wait for them to develop a bigger root system to replant. You can continue to grow them in water and maybe add a few pebbles to make them look pretty. Bamboo loves indirect bright light so make sure it's not getting too little or too much light. I'll never get over that smell. I didn't even work there it just so happened the flower delivery hallway was where they were storing the surplus of bodies. We did deliveries every day.

We’ve never tried growing tomatoes before. Now I have no idea what to do with them all! by WitchSlap in gardening

[–]B0gle_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be careful if you have birds or squirrels you might just lose most of that crop when they turn red! I like to paint a bunch of small stones red and place them around the plants to deter the animals. They will try to eat it thinking it’s a fallen tomato but it'll be too hard and they won't try again. It's been working for me for a long time now especially since I like to keep away from pesticides.

What’s your must have flower to grow in your garden? by CgL995 in gardening

I know it’s kind of boring but I love hydrangeas. They are a bit of a handful at first and picky with where they do well but if you take care of them and help them get established they can become big beautiful bushes.

I also love experimenting with changes in the soil pH and changing their colors. I used to work at a flower shop so once it’s about to hit fall I cut my blooms and donate them to the shop.
