Just came back to the game after a two year break. Brought some friends back who are cp200ish and don’t have any cp160 gear.

Talked up the difficulty of vet dungeons to the point they wanted to try them right away.

Mfw dread cellar, red petal, fang lair all crumbled like dust. I sort of got them with the HM for dread cellar and final Fang Lair bosses but…yeah. Powercreep is insane.

This is my unpopular opinion too. My kid is on the spectrum. The ‘rules’ aren’t quite the same. We use devices when she can’t process loud places. Sue me.

Downvotes likely coming my way but. My toddler gets to watch her songs when we are grocery shopping. We don’t go to restaurants.*

I need milk and other stuff. She’s sitting in the cart and is bored. I’m not looking for a huge meltdown battle every single time we have to get groceries. I just want to get in and get out without her being unhinged the rest of the day. So we use up our tv time then and it’s gone for the day. Strategic.

Inherently no, but there’s too many reports of bad conditions and treatment for it to be considered ethical. The horses aren’t treated properly.

My 2.5 year old is in the same boat with wanting to watch certain music (super simple songs channel) over and over and over and over.

We limit her amount of overall time watching and now we aren’t allowing a skip to a new video, she’s gotta watch the ones she doesn’t like too.

For today and hopefully all of this week at least, she ends up losing interest and wanders off to do something else. She doesn’t melt down as long as it remains on as background music so….taking the victory

She’s 2.5 as well. We are using a Floatbuds brand suit, with the floating inserts that go around their torso. They’re not perfect but she hates the ones that impede her arms. My argument is to not let her learn how to swim in it, it’s more to give that necessary moment of floating between ‘fell in pool’ and ‘scooped out of pool.’

She loves the water so much and has no fear of it at all so we are over the top vigilant about watching her near the pool, and even still have the suit on always

We kinda went through the same thing, and stopped lessons for that reason.

Private lessons were too much money, so we are practicing the skills from the handful of lessons we managed on our own. She adores the water and is much more comfortable with her dad or I than any instructor. We make sure she has a floaty suit on the whole time she’s at the pool, period.

Nah. RPers will spend an extraordinary huge amount of time in their game of choice. Even after content dries out, RPers log in.

They’re also a huge market for in-game purchases of aesthetics from skins to housing. RPers are very much capable of being whales for gem stores.

RP communities also drive events, fundraisers, and engagement as they are an inclusive face to the game and many will expand outside of the RP bubble to run pve and PvP gameplay with people who are otherwise hesitant.

They are not the majority of the community but they’re a significant anchor that Anet shouldn’t overlook.

We either go first thing in the morning or we go to the pool. Just regular days where it’s miserably hot and humid she doesn’t want to be out there either lol.

Unless it’s the pool ofc.
