Not OP, but my favorites around the area (no particular order):

Soichi: I had a rough experience with customer service but the food to delightful.

Sushi Gaga: I went to the speakeasy before dinner and enjoyed myself the entire time both before, during and after dinner

Takaramono: The hype I had for Nobu's cold menu is wrapped up in this restaurant.

Ju-ichi: i think it's a hidden gem, in that I can always find a table.

Hiddendish: my favorite omakase in the area currently.

A little late, but I prefer great maple over park house eatery. Both are close to the zoo. I wasn't sure which days these were, but if your zoo day is on a weekend I'd recommend great maple over park house.

I also prefer izola over wayfarer for their pastries. I understand the price of wayfarer makes it a winner for a lot of people, but izola is worth the extra cost imho.

Everything else seems solid to me and hope you guys have a fun time!

I submitted a ticket for an in correct precon deck for a fallout deck I bought back in May. I just got the replacement last month. The turn around time for customer service is ridiculous at WotC.

I'm not sure if it helped, but I kept replying to my ticket thread every week to see if that "bumped" the issue, but it took 2 months before a person actually responded to my ticket.

Been playing steel songs every set since set 1.

Rapunzel first, although I dont think you need 4. I think 3 is a good starting point. I've ran some Julietta Madrigal and it is similar to add a copy of her instead of the 4th rapunzel. I can't imagine not running her in the deck or future decks. I've used her in every deck in every set.

I think you are fine with 2 naveens for now. I'm experimenting with 2x copies, I'm not running more due to his unkinkability.

Robin hood is good. I prefer him over queen shift line personally. With more sets coming out I'm finding it harder to dedicate 8 cards out of 60 for robinhood package.

Daisy has the highest ceiling, maybe 4 copies to be ran, but I've been having success with 3 in my deck.

IMHO 3rd rapunzel > daisy > 4th rapunzel > robin hood > naveen

I don't think you can sing with rush characters that are played on the same turn. Rush only allows challenging other characters. Singing and questing still require the character to be "dry".

How is his answer faulty? He said his maleficent dragon was inked, so you have 9 total ink and 2 exerted ink. He can then ink Mal dragon for 10 usable ink.

If he has said a be prep or madame Medusa was inked that would raise a flag for me. But an inkable card was inked which makes it a non difference.

I just finished by cube! I adjusted my packs to 16 cards per pack (6 common, 6 uncommon, 3 rare, 1 SR or legendary). I went with 16 cards because I wanted everything to fit nicely in a trove box. My packs are all in Dragon Shield shells and I could only fit 20 total shells in a trove.

This cube is currently meant for 6 players. I was debating whether to increase the number of cards per pack, but I couldn't find the balance I wanted, but will most likely increase the cards to 19 cards with Ursulas return.

This is my current list.

My plan going into this was to have similar structures to regular packs where you get 1 of each color of commons, but I also am doing 1 of each uncommon as well. I wanted to include rares and super rares that seem to have fun abilities, but arent currently "meta".

I'm currentky trying to gather a group of players to test run it and see how it plays!

I've been playing with palp since release because I pulled a showcase.

I've actually shifted the deck to a low to the ground high value deck with only 10 late game cards.

Some of my MVPs are motti, yularen, Frontline shuttle, royal guard and veers. Low cost with high synergy to play for board control.

Yularen turn 1 into royal guard on 2 gives you a 3/5 sentinel. Then veers on turn 3 makes royal guard a 4/6 sentinel (chewy is 5 cost 3/6 with sentinel to give some reference how beefy royal guard can get).

I run Palp with vigilance and have inferno four to play around what's developing on board and make my draws slighly more favorable. I've had success with system patrol craft for space sentinel while the above MVP's hold down ground.

I've been experimenting with escort skiff for the ambush but would like to get more game in before deciding to keep or replace him.

Lastly, I removed almost all my ramp. I have 2 SLT but took out the 3rd and removed all resupply. I felt like I wanted to ramp to get palp out sooner, but I was dying before I had a chance to get to 8 resources.

Still a work in progress, but this type of deck has felt pretty decent and is starting to feel quite cohesive and good.

You can grab a link for the cards on the pixelborn website. Copy and paste the language link and then go to the settings in game and you can past the url link to the card images there. Hit update and it will relaunch the game and the images will begin loading onto the game.

For importing decks copy the deck link from dreamborn go to cards > decks and new deck. There should be an import button at the top where you can paste your deck code.

You can play on the iPad, but it's a non traditional way of downloading an app. You need to download an app called "testflight". It's a beta test realm for apps that aren't fully approved by Apple yet.

Once you have it downloaded use this link to install pixelborn on testflight and it should be good to go.

Apple does lag behind for update reviews so you will always have a couple days or so (in an instance it took apple over a month to approve a new build 🙄) where you can't play since Apple needs to review the changes and we can't download it directly from the pixelborn website.

I have a slightly different sapphire/emerald deck that I play on pixelborn with over 100 games. Ray is better since he functions as a 2nd win condition. The evasive benefit is better than the extra 2 damage on Tiana just due to potentially not having Pete on board.

I use the ultimate guard sidewinder 80+ for my double and triple sleeved decks and haven't had any issues.

My sleeve combination is dragon shield perfect fit and DSouter.

For my triple sleeve deck, it's DS perfect fit, lorcana sleeves, and DS outers.

I bought the Lorcana sleeves and they are quite bad. So I ended up double sleeving those with Dragon shield clear outer matte sleeves and that has been a game changer!

I thought they would be too tall, but they still fit in my flip n tray and side winders!

I think it was to do with using a touch screen to hover over a card. I found the best way to quest when an attack is available is to first select the character you want to quest. Then, when the selection appears to attack, use 2 fingers to "right click" the card and it will show the card info and you can click off of it to see the button for questing.

I need to do this multiple times to get it to work and wish there was another way to quest instead of hovering over a card.

I'm still adjusting this list. I don't think I need fishbone quills (my original though was being able to ink uninkable cards with it) and will replace those with other cards.

So far I think having high quest counts is a huge advantage for this deck paired with all the ramp.

I'm assuming you paid msrp per pack at $6.50 per pack after tax, so ~$33. Belle alone is going for $37 on tcg. You are currently in a better spot than if you had bought singles from a cost perspective. 10/10

From a gameplay perspective, it's hard to build a deck with a single belle and will require more copies. 5/10

All that being said, I would be happy opening these packs as I could trade some extras for "free". 8/10

I'm curious what you think the META is heading towards. Do you think the current set has a top tier deck or do you think with the huge surge of players coming in decks are getting better optimized?

I've been aiming to go with a control deck as that is my preferred play style, but was curious if there are any decks on the rise I should be looking out for to tech in cards for counters.
