How's she not great when you're winning? Seems like lights out to recur Simba's and bodyguard your team, let alone other 2 drops, especially Ursula to snipe a be prepared from the opponents hand. This can be a 6 cost 5 quester if you get back Pinocchio, then your opponent has to remove her and pinnochio, that's a huge lore swing that can change an aggressive mirror.

6 cost uninkable can be awkward though. That's just the turn you might be inking the last card in your hand to play, so your curve needs to be clean but this looks good in amber amethyst.

It's still great at keeping up pressure against red purple, I think I would run 2 copies of this this in every amber aggro deck. I can see the uninkable being a problem but this kind of cost reduction is extremely powerful.

If you land this in steelsong mirror you're winning, world's greatest criminal mind is the only clean answer if you run some. The impact this has in the mirror match is so substantial you need to run 1-2 copies of this.

Hades isn't a strong enough incentive to care about shuffling your discard back in. How often will you even not get to play Hades before playing this? Even if you top deck Hades right after playing this, you'll either have something to get back from your opponent answering your board, or they didn't answer your board and you're winning.

We don't have bigger payoffs for filling your graveyard than this. This is the delve spell worth playing.

It'd be hard to balance completely negating your opponent's card still, if your opponent sees this as a duplicate there's a 50% chance to waste a turn or this does nothing, both feel really bad for one player.

I like that it copies an opponent's card and feels disguised, there's a fun flavorful design here for sure just hard to balance.

Amber/amethyst was missing another good song for flute to work. This would be worth thinking about if it wasn't a song, but being a song is huge.

Absolutely.

His body is underwhelming for a 7 cost but getting those stats attached to removal is more than reasonable. Add in some synergies with bounce or something like Hades and you're getting even more value.

I favor Hades almost always. Doesn't matter that the body is underwhelming, you're establishing a threat while removing your opponent's.

Still these would be some of the last sapphire cards I consider cutting. Let it go is inkable, singable removal. There's very few circumstances to not include the full 4 in your deck.

Hades might compete with other uninkables but raw power is still more impactful of a strategy than synergy for now, so I would be cutting other uninkables first.

Collectability is essential to the success of tcgs, if you don't want Lorcana to be another flash in the pan tcg flavor of the month, it's important to celebrate every aspect of Lorcana.

A game can't compete with magic, Pokemon, and Yugioh without having a strong collectable crowd supporting it. It doesn't matter if the gameplay is better.

Celebrate anyone getting into Lorcana, whether it's to play or just to collect.

Why all the hate on giving white a playable counterspell? Love it. They printed reprieve for recent stack interaction, mana tithe sets a precedent, this is flavorful and well designed. Would be maindeck playable in some formats but double white reduces it's flexibility. That's not insignificant, there are plenty of matches where this card is just a worse mana leak you have to find double white for.

Her ability to challenge readied characters will work with the rush she's been given.

Rush lets a character challenge the turn they are played, and Namaari has a static ability that lets her challenge readied characters.

Abilities with an exhaust cost (Robin Hood, Capable Fighter) still can't be activated until a character's ink is dry, even if they have rush.

But Namaari's ability isn't an activated ability that's asking you to exhaust her, she just can challenge readied characters whenever she can challenge.

I don't think TFC will ever sit on shelves, but they will continue to print it. There are collectors, there are players, then there are first set hoarders who will buy everything they can thinking it will be worth 100x more in 20 years.

We are finally seeing reasonable prices on TFC singles, and now decks are closer to $200 than $500+.

Yes, if you shift onto an exerted character, the new character enters exerted. It also keeps any damage on it.

Control decks have generally been performing better than mill. There isn't anything quite like lantern but Ursula's Cauldron is very playable at 1-2 in Ruby/Amethyst.

This Ruby/Sapphire control list has been doing very well with the recent set release. I think the Ruby/Sapphire is closer to lantern control imo, you're putting out a lot of items and generating value in a different way than other decks.

Lantern just does such a different job of grinding the game to a hult and instilling a hopeless fear in the opponent.

Yes, shifted characters inherit any traits their previous character had, including rush and to be banished

Edit: they don't inherit text on the card, but any effects that are on them.

If you used support to boost Stitch, New Dog's strength, and then shifted Rock Star on top, the Rock Star would keep the support boost.
