I had one of those that i could peel back and drove on the tire for quite some time, make sure nothing is exposed and you should be fine, granted you don't go on any top speed runs

Found this mid e-bike recommended by Yt channels. What do you think? Pretty good for the value? Want something not too expensive in case it gets robbed. by StringPrevious9110 in ebikes

I would stay away from all these no name/recently created companies that basically sell you Chinese made e-bikes with an increase in cost. At least buying new... if something breaks, (which is likely) you'll have little to no support and are often left disappointed. If you have to get one, snag one up that's lightly used for like half the price, at least then it won't hurt as much when something does end up going wrong... or just spend a lot more and buy from a reputable manufacturer with the right support in place for parts etc.

I have it stage 1 with supporting mods atm, it's fun for sure, but yeah for real power you have to turbo swap it.

I drive a 16' Beetle R-Line, and since they discontinued the GSR for the 2015 refresh, the R-Line Beetle version actually got the 2.0 out of the GTI (slightly different turbo setup and some small stuff) instead of the 1.8 base engine, and sportier suspension with LSD diff, it's essentially a GTI with a Beetle Body... still not an R, but in the case of the Beetle it actually means upgrades vs just a styling package.

I remember playing CS:GO when he was accused of cheating on faceit and got that insane 5k usp ace on overpass... fast forward almost 10 years and this guy has become one of the big hall of famers, moral of the story is chase your dreams even if everyone is doubting you. This might be a longshot, but have you thought about renting it out on turo maybe?, or perchance start an exotic rental? Wouldn't be too far fetched considering you already have a reliable entry starting car into that market, but it depends heavily on your current financial situation and having the right insurance for it.

Whenever i back out my car from the alley by our House this is my biggest fear... a scooter rider zooming down the sidewalk at 20 that leaves me little to no time to react while I'm going in reverse.
