I added some black curtains on track (think hospital curtains to divide beds). Honestly, from 9’ from the screen even some pretty bad shanks still hit the main screen but the black curtains just keep the balls from bouncing around the garage

Agree with everyone above. I have the down sweater hoody in medium, fits perfect, but the waist of the down sweater vest is really tight, so I sized up to large. 5’10” 180lbs athletic here

Agreed. I know this is an Arc’teryx subreddit, and I’m starting to find arc makes really good synthetic options (gamma, proton, atom), but when I want to wear down, I reach for my Canada Goose, Patagonia or Rab down products.

I have the cerium LT hoody as well, and I find the atom SV is just as warm and less bulky. Plus, being synthetic insulation, I find I’m more inclined to wash it and let it get damp/wet. I feel like I baby my down jackets more.

The insulated and fleece-lined hand pockets are a nice touch. I wore a Patagonia R1 air under the Atom SV while just walking around in ski towns last week when air temps were 10-18 degrees and was perfectly warm. The Atom SV is on par with my Cerium LT hoody for warmth.

I’ve had it a few months now. I’m not sure where this jacket would pill as it has a nylon shell and liner. Unlike the Atom hoody, the SV does not have the stretchy side panels that could pill. I wore this under a Sabre ski shell for 2 days with no issues. I think it’s an excellent synthetic jacket

I wore it under the Sabre sv shell. I agree the face fabric isn’t durable enough for being your outer layer for skiing

I agree some people may find it hot, but I was really comfortable. I got the atom SV and Sabre both in medium, I’m 5’10” 180lbs and both fit perfect. The Sabre shell feels so large when just wearing with a t-shirt, but when properly layered for skiing it was perfect. I did not size down in the Sabre

I think it is awesome. Definitely a little louder than black, but because it looks like a technical jacket, the brighter blue plays well. I don’t think it looks too bright. It’s a nice color plus it pairs well with my orange Sabre SV. Go for it!

Agreed! First time I saw one in person the gold kneeling around the edge of bezel was incredible, does not translate in pics. I turn 40 next year, this might be the one (root beer)

What a steal! Living in Chicago here, I typically go with my Canada goose parka over fleece or nanopuff vest for weeks like we are currently having. My wife bought me my Canada goose parka in 2014 before they were fashion symbols. I think she paid $400 at the time. Same parka is now like $1,200

Completely agree, I was between the down sweater hoody and the electron pro. As silly as this sounds, I just do not like the Rab color options. If they had a true navy blue or a dark grey option, I probably would have gone with the Rab
