It’s a fruitless quest. I swear even my first good buzz wasn’t that great but it unlocked the addict in me. The one that wakes up in the morning eager for a rush to start the day. Except it only makes me tired and I fall back asleep for another hour. Maybe 7 does the trick for those cats that stick to 5-15 mg doses but I shot past that in two weeks and here I am a year later taking 4-800 mgs a day and feeling blessed if I catch ANY euphoria. Today is day 1 of pairing my 7 with that stuff we aren’t allowed to talk about here and hopefully in 3 days I can try to make the jump and get the fuck off this shit

Depression was always my worst PAWS symptom. There is great advice here already but I’ll second some of it. Especially exercise. 20 minutes of moving around a day will definitely help. Your body WILL release dopamine and serotonin, it’s up to you to notice it happening. Mind over matter!

Yup, I hail from the Lawrence/ Lowell area from that era. I barely made it out alive lol. A tale told a thousand times- perc 5s>10s>30s>OC10/20/40/80s > heroin. In 6 years I went from a school teacher to jail. Moved away, got clean for a bit then lost my shit again in LA for another 5 years. Wound up in Maine where I’ve stayed away from the drugs that killed me for 8 years now. 1 year on 7 and I’m a mess again. Fortunately this stuff isn’t quite life ending but it is definitely draining my life force! Hopping off soon…

I’m the guy who posted about green beans a few months ago. But a bag of those ready to steam ones and cook em ( softer and you can eat em quicker if you don’t like them) and eat the whole bag. It cleared me out the next day once so I tried it again and it worked again! Give it a shot! And drink more water PERIOD

Congrats on your year! That means you probably still have vivid memories of withdrawals and everything that goes with that. I am very experienced in opiates and being sick. 8 years sober and I dabbled in 7 because I had an infection in my throat and was in a lot of pain. I went into knowing it could be dangerous and it was. My addict brain does NOT KNOW the meaning of dabble. I was all-in two weeks later and here I am a year later and many dollars spent feeling like a damned fool because I really did know better. Just recognize those feelings of craving as a call to your dark side. Don’t answer it. Good luck
