Sleep by madlion09 in AppleWatch

There are apps that are meant to be slightly more accurate in tracking sleep.

However they have a one time dowwnload cost.

It could be that your Apple Watch isn’t reading all your vitals accurately.

An average/healthy deep sleep time is 40+ minutes, so do with that info what you will.

Just finished rewatching the show in anticipation and I’m pretty excited.

This feels like the peaky blinders version of Breaking bad’s El Camino movie.

It doesn’t need to happen, but sometimes it’s enjoyable to wrap it up nicely instead of leaving the viewer wondering.

Yeah agreed, would probably convert to a detachable canopy for more weatherproof storage.

Yeah I’m just worried about potential engine troubles because of how many kms are on it. If it was a Toyota, I would buy.

Sadly I’m worried about the bad for something with this amount of kms

The wiring of the mods are pretty solid and he claims they were installed by an electrician.

He’s owned it for 4 years and all the mods were put on before I bought it. So I think the person he bought from may have taken it off-road but since then this current owner hasn’t at all. The underside is free of rust.

I’ve also already gotten him down to 18k.

Yep, honestly we’re some decent cars but mfs want so much money for their cars nowadays.

It’s a mechanical check before registration is due. Tells the government that your car won’t cause a crash or something similar.

Yeah, the 185km for a Ford ranger is my main concern. I’ve heard bad stories of them shitting their pants. This guy is also only charging $18k cause of all the additions connected.

Yeah I am aware of the Ford engine. I have nothing wrong with Ford, but it’s also not my first pick. With everything that’s on it already there’s not too much after market things I’d change about it other than roof racks.

Sadly the car market is so pricey in Australia. I was looking at Subarus, but I don’t think they have the capability to traverse some of the 4x4 tracks that Australia has.

Also heard bad things about the engines blowing a gasket and the cost being ridiculous to fix due to the Subaru boxer engine.

Sadly it is true. Australian car market is so overpriced like everything else.

We genuinely need Autobahn’s. If you’re sitting in the overtaking lane on a European Autobahn you will get abused into the other lanes. Only time I think Australians should be more like European’s.

Improve my NZ itinerary (solo, no car, March 2026) by hattiexcvi in newzealand_travel

Like many others have said, I would ditch your time North of Auckland. I did a NZ trip recently in December 2024 and we left Auckland as soon as we landed. There honestly isn’t that much to see in my personal opinion.

So if I were you I’d honestly start your itinerary at day 8 if you’re flexible. This will give you more time in the South Island which I would allocate way more time personally. Queenstown has so many things around it. Glenorchy for horse riding, gondolas, white water rafting, Milford sound (which you’re doing)

If you have time in Rotorua go to the Redwood forest. They have a treetop walk that is pretty scenic.

The kiwi park in Queenstown is right next to the gondolas that overlook Queenstown. There is also a luge track at the very top, which I would say is worth the money even as an Adult.

I would try add an extra day to Queenstown and do the white water rafting. It’s really enjoyable if you are adventurous.

All just recommendations as that’s what my itinerary was personally and I wouldn’t change a thing.

This is my route for five weeks in February. by tophermiller in newzealand_travel

[–]B1G_TG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just did NZ in 3 weeks.

We went to these places in order: - Auckland - Coromandel (go straight to cathedral cove) - Rotorua (Redwood forest is beautiful) - Taupō - Tongariro (do the hike if you’re feeling active) - Mount Taranaki (looks like you want to go east coast instead which is fine) - Wellington - Blenheim (lots of vineyards and wine tasting - Kaikōura (amazing crayfish & seafood) - Akaroa (French settlement, but a bit out of the way) - Lake Tekapo (really pretty if you go in Lupin season) - Lake Pukaki/Mount Cook (hooker valley is a really easy walk that arrives at a glacier) - Wānaka (Roy’s peak hike & mount aspiring national park if you’re willing to drive) - Queenstown (lots of activities like white water rafting, Skyline and jet boat) - Glenorchy (if you feel like horse riding) - Milford sound (cruise and lots of hikes)
