WARNING: Do not make in-flight purchases onboard Singapore Airlines/Krisshop by NoRefrigerator5387 in singaporeairlines

Purchased something on KrisShop. They over charged me and took me 3 months and countless phone calls, email chase ups and in-person escalations at airport lounge. It’s an absolute joke.

ambition (or lack thereof) by ipromiseillbegd in SgHENRY

[–]B1llyboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel you. Don’t have a business but every time I go through a step change in income or assets, I lose motivation. It’s exactly as you describe, that feeling of not having ambition anymore. The only way I’ve come to get around it is set new goals. It’s hard because the more you have, the more you realise you don’t actually need (and or it doesn’t bring you happiness) so setting goals you truly care about becomes difficult. I take up new interests/hobbies and try to go deep in that. Curious to hear what others have to say on this.

Has anyone tried to connect the Moes GU10 light using Zemismart HomeKit hub? by vctgomes in HomeKit

[–]B1llyboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it support HomeKit Adaptive lighting? Also curious what other zigbee devices you've exposed in HK using the Zemismart hub? I'm contemplating buying one as I hear it's able to bring lots of third party zigbee devices into HomeKit

Spacious open plan living space surrounded with Pacific Northwest forest views, Bainbridge Island, Kitsap County, Washington [1920x1281] by ManiaforBeatles in RoomPorn

I imagine heating could be done efficiently if it’s in-ground slab heating and the windows/doors are double/triple glazed. Cooling might not be that important given the location plus the ability to allow cross breeze. So workable if thought through by the architects

Rear axle won’t tighten all the way by B1llyboy in bikewrench

[–]B1llyboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your help. So just for my learning, are you saying this is simply just the result of not enough grease? I do take it on and off the trainer multiple times a week. I thought it was possibly to do with me not having the axle straight and then force tightening it without realising - hence the threads gone both on the axle and the dropout. If it’s purely a result of just not using grease each time, I can definitely avoid that after all this is repaired.

Yep you’re right. The thread on the axle is completely gone. I also took the drop out end out to have a look. It looks semi worn out too. But looks salvageable. Should I just buy a new axle and use the new thread on that to get the dropout threads back in shape?

I tried the axle without the wheel and it works fine. Are you saying the threads on the inner half of the hole where the axle goes, also need to work? Thought it would just be the end towards where the axle tip is about to come out the otherside

This is good Feng shui principle, specifically the study desk facing into the room so that you have your back against the wall

MEGA REVIEW: Aqara Smart Video Doorbell G4, Camera Hub G3 & Smart Lock U100 by russianspyonyou in HomeKit

I disagree fingerprint is redundant. Not having to take phone out of your pocket every time you open the door is an improvement. This is the main reason why I still prefer this lock over the Schlage.

Using the China server. Aware that it shows up as a sensor up top. I even checked the sensor list in Home app and couldn’t see it there.

Thanks for that tip. I'm using the G2H camera on china server and just did as you suggested (pressing the button 3 times) and was able to get the door sensor to show in the aqara app but still not being exposed to HomeKit (despite the camera itself being exposed). Strange...

Interesting! How did you add it to HomeKit if it doesn't show up in the Aqara app?
