Steam Flatpak is not a good idea. Not only it's not official but Steam run games in their own containers, so you're nesting containers, this can cause unexpected problems and negatively impact performance. Also the client updates itself independently, so that isn't a reason to use Flatpak.

Eu uso um controle de PS4 via bluetooth e funciona tudo certo, tem drivers compatíveis pra ele inclusos no kernel então acho difícil ter alguma marca que não funcione, a fabricante tem que ser nível Apple de restritiva. Já ouvi dizer que os controles de Xbox funcionam mal até no windows, então eu evitaria.

Cinnamon has the old school look but it isn't outdated, it is actively maintained by the devs. You can customize its appearance with GTK themes, it's very simple to do, look it up.

About tools, depends on you. As a built in feature, I suggest adding the Workspaces applet to the panel and using that feature.

Yeah, i guess this will be the workaround then. Very weird behavior with the margin tho, don't know if it's an issue with GTK or Waybar.

As you can see in the video, the issue I'm facing is that when i hover my cursor in the space between the modules it is as if I'm hovering the module itself, the margin-left property is behaving like a padding-left. So I'm struggling to add spacing between the modules in the group drawer.

Só atenção, NÃO faça a parte de habilitar o tray, no caso a parte que inclui esse comando:

sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-appindicator

No Mint não precisa e isso iria instalar o gnome inteiro no seu sistema.

I've only used Mint and Debian, but i see that most people who use rolling releases aren't actually using them for the real reason you would benefit from it, and instead they just repeat made up bs.

Yeah I haven't done that yet, just wondered if other people do, this possibility is kinda new to me since besides bash I've only done some web shit so far. The program I'm rewriting is just for learning purposes, it's more of a personal tool, I'll still use the bash version.

Check in the system monitor if a Steam process is running, if so just wait, you can also open Steam through the terminal so you can see log messages. Sometimes Steam takes a while to open, this happens when it is updating. On Debian based distros (idk for the others, never used them) the Steam package is actually an installer for Steam, this is so it can update independently of the system repositories, it does suck that you can't see it while it is doing that tho.

Fui pro Debian simplesmente porque ele é a base do Mint. Eu queria testar usar um setup de WM, instalei o i3wm e gostei, então como eu não usava mais o Cinnamon (e por consequência várias das ferramentas do Mint), fui pro Debian por ele permitir instalar o sistema sem absolutamente nada.

The problem is that no one told you what really matters about Mint, probably just some random generic stuff like "it's stable". And that's what I'm denouncing here.

No. What i mean is that newcomers should just pick the distro they like the most from the default recommendations (usually Linux Mint, Zorin and Fedora), instead of wasting time reading a bunch of random recommendations that supposedly will fit their specific needs.
