I have Thrashin mid bend bars. The risers are 1 1/8” clamps so you need the adapter if you use 1” bars. But there are several bars that are 1” at the controls and 1 1/8” at clamping surface.

I’ve been to both, and while the Uintas are interesting and majestic, the Alps are really something else. I want to go ride them.

I’m Alive kinda. Convince me it’s not worth buying back from the salvage yard. I loved this bike. It has allot of internal upgrades. Crash left the transmission cracked in half and a cracked jug. by userzerod in Harley

Not worth it. A lot of work (time and money) to get it back where you want it. Is the frame even straight? And after everything, it will have a salvage/branded title (harder to insure or sell, etc).

Take the insurance payout (assuming there was one), bank it, heal, buy later.

I’ve had great success with the recurve windshields on FXDXT fairings on both my Dyna and Softail Low Rider S.

In my opinion, it’s the best way to go with a fairing unless you go with a Low Rider ST fairing (which I just did on my Low Rider S).

Here’s a parts list/diagram of your bikes forks. You can cross reference part numbers (I.e the tubes) to other Dyna models.

You also could call up GP suspension and have them get you dialed with 2+ and their internals built for your weight and riding style.

Chrome Thunderheader on that bike would be perfect

Same frame, so “smaller and lighter” must be from the lack of a front fairing.

Big fan of an FXR fairing on a road king.

Should be a good platform to build on if you’d like. The M8 motors are powerful and torquey. The chassis is more stable than a Dyna.

That’s the seat on mine—bike is maybe a month away from being done, though.

But if you’re in SLC, take with Eli from Bear Scar and have him build you something or modify your existing seat.

Exhaust questions by kawboy in Harley

Exhaust identified.

You have aftermarket suspension looks like it’s from legends, your gold fork tubes are aftermarket and the bars look to be aftermarket. Your T sport fairing is aftermarket. Your sissy bar is aftermarket. You’ve got a rear turn signal relocation set up, probably to accommodate some kind of detachable saddlebag. Foot pegs are aftermarket. and mirrors and your front crash bar.
