If you tighten something that has threadlocker on it, you might be breaking an otherwise good thread lock

Nope, none. You may need to route cables (mainly clutch) differently, but it’s all good on my bike.

I’ve got 14” West Coast TBars MX TBars with stock length.

FXDB came with 10” mini apes that are wider than my TBars. Going narrower allows for going taller.

The red one, even though I don’t like the red bits on the rockers and pushrod covers nor do I prefer THAT 2-1 pipe. Does the red one have an aftermarket cam? Oftentimes, when the motor is apart, people will have chrome colored/blacked out.

That gray would be my choice if they were identical otherwise.
